FPL Gameweek 1 Latest Draft 2021/22

The FPL Gameweek 1 deadline is fast approaching for the 2021/22 season, with some tinkering of the latest draft.

There’s a shift in formation to a 4-3-3, which allows an extra premium player in defence.

FPL Gameweek 1 Team

There’s a change in formation from our previously posted team with a switch to 4-3-3 to fit in Andrew Robertson as another premium defender: Liverpool start the season with excellent fixtures and he’s been incredibly consistent in the last campaign. Wesley Fofana makes way.

There’s no major changes elsewhere, with just the formation and bench different. Ben White had to be downgraded to Manquillo to afford this team. The 4-3-3 meant fielding two £4.5 million midfielders and Yves Bissouma has been moved down the pecking order in favour of Billy Gilmour and Josh Brownhill. The tweak meant that James Ward-Prowse also made way.
