As if we didn’t have other players to plan for, Andy highlighted another who could be an option once more. Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka (£10.2m) picked up an injury during Gameweek 17, and has missed a huge 12 fixtures because if it.
However, as seen below, the Arsenal penalty taker could well be back in time for a potential double Gameweek. Based on the fact he racked up an impressive five goals and 10 assists in his first 16 matches, having a plan to bring him back into our teams could be wise.

Harry highlighted another key FPL asset ahead of the new round. Chelsea’ Cole Palmer (£10.8m) missed out in Gameweek 29 due to an injury. We are yet to get confirmation on whether he will be fit or not for Gameweek 30 at the time of writing.
Palmer has been one of the campaigns top performers in FPL so far. But, after failing to return in any of his previous five matches, along with injury doubts, it could be time to move him on. If he does recover from his injury with haste, then fixtures against Spurs, Brentford, Ipswich and Fulham could see him recapture his form and appeal.

Injuries appear to be a hot topic in the FPL community at the moment, and another significant asset hoping to make a speedy recovery is Crystal Palace striker Jean Philippe Mateta (£7.5m). The Frenchman suffered a head injury during a Cup clash.
However, as we can see, the Eagles talisman seems to be in training already. Mateta returned in all five of his six matches prior to injury, and he comes up against a woeful Southampton side up next. With that in mind we could see FPL managers flock to him, if confirmed ready for Gameweek 30.

Chip strategy is a vital part to any given managers success in FPL. Knowing when to play them can determine whether you have a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ campaign. So, having at least a provisional plan in place could be beneficial.
