FPL experts first drafts
The Official Fantasy Premier League game is back so we bring in several of the top managers and look at some FPL experts first drafts. Some of Twitters best have provided their first drafts ahead of the new season and we try and find some popular trends between them.
Looking at some FPL experts first drafts can be hugely beneficial to managers. Knowing how other fantasy managers think and how they select their players can be really helpful when selecting our own teams. So lets dive in.
@FPLReaction
Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Community contributor @FPLReaction comes in with an interesting draft. Many within the community have found it difficult to like a team including Erling Haland (£14m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.5m).
That may be the case but Louis may have put together a great squad. Amongst the pricier players mentioned above, he has still managed to squeeze in favourites like Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m), Phil Foden (£7.5m), Bukayo Saka (£8.5m) and Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m).
@WGTA_FPL
Fantasy Football content creator Who Got Assist? (Tom) stated that he was sitting on this draft until August. Unlike many drafts within the community Tom has decided to draft in a double Manchester United attack with Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m) and Marcus Rashford (£9m).
Tom has also decided back a double Arsenal attack of Bukayo Saka (£8.5m) and Gabriel Jesus (£8m) – they have some fantastic starting fixtures. He has also opted for double Brighton with Pervis Estupinan (£5m) and Kaoru Mitoma.
@FplMode
Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Community contributor Andy returns with his first draft of the new season. He has included some favourites like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bruno Fernandes, Kaoru Mitoma and Erling Haaland.
Although Andy’ team may be similar to many, he has opted for two interesting selections. One of those include Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins (£8m) who managed 15 goals and six assists last season. Another fun inclusion includes Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze (£6.5m) who bagged six goals and one assist in his last 10 matches of last season.
@FFScout_Joe
Fantasy Football Scout contributor Joe has also produced his first draft of the season. He has opted for Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken (£4.5m) who will likely replace David Raya (£4.5m) if he leaves. Raya was the highest scoring goalkeeper in FPL last season so Flekken has big shoes to fill if the former does leave.
Joe has also brought in some of the more template options. He too has backed Marcus Rashford although some within the community have opted for the cheaper Bruno Fernandes instead. The Brighton double of Estupinan and Mitoma are ever present in Joe’ draft too.
