We caught up with some FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 4. The experts included cover a range of different topics from chips and the best players to player and team form and more as we head into the second round of the new season.
Catching up with the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 4 could be both fun and insightful. The experts cover some of the key topics ahead of the new round which could help bring clarity to some of the decisions we have to make in our own teams.

One of the key talking points ahead of Gameweek 4 has been highlighted by FPL Goat below. Newcastle have failed to convince early on from an offensive perspective, even after edging Spurs in their latest match.
The above and Ollie Watkins’s (£8.9m) favourable run means that many are questioning Alexander Isak’s (£8.5m) place in their teams. The Swede hasn’t exactly been dry of returns with a goal and an assist already. With Wolves and Fulham ahead, two sides who have failed to keep a single clean sheet between them so far, Isak has the potential to hurt sellers.

Another side who have made an impressive start to the campaign in terms of results is Brighton. As well as holding Arsenal to a draw the Seagulls also beat both Everton and Manchester United. Ipswich lay ahead which seems to be attracting FPL managers in droves.
Brighton have an array of different attacking options but one who seems to be catching the eye more than others is penalty taker Joao Pedro (£5.7m). Pedro goes into the next game off the back of two goals in his last two games. You can never discount Danny Welbeck though, the Englishman has produced two goals and one assist in his first three matches.

Harry was playing with some ideas ahead of the new round. Other than their defeat to Liverpool in Gameweek 2 Brentford have impressed. As well as beating Crystal Palace in the first round 2-1 they also swept newly promoted Southampton aside 3-1 in their previous match.
Brentford face Manchester City and Tottenham next up but then West Ham, Wolves, Manchester United, Ipswich, Fulham, Bournemouth, Everton and Leicester immediately after that. So, like Harry many could consider both Bryan Mbeumo (£7.1m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.1m), especially after bagging a combined six returns in their first three games.

Ahead of the new season many within the community weren’t sure whether to pick Erling Haaland (£15.2m), Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) or both. The issue with the latter was that it meant, or at least many believed, having a less balanced team.
Since Gameweek 1 Haaland and Salah have both notched up a monstrous 41 points. Whilst the Norwegian goes into his Gameweek 4 match off the back of two consecutive 17-pointers Salah is yet to register lower than double-digits in any of his matches. Can they keep this form up, or will those who backed only one eventually prevail?
