FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 30

We take a look at some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 30. With the new round approaching, we check out what some of the most elite managers have been talking about in the build up to the latest round of Fantasy Premier League.

Looking at what some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 30 are talking about could be highly beneficial to other managers. Whether they discuss expected minutes, potential transfer targets, chip strategy or other key factors, it can all help to provide clarity within our own teams.

Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Community contributor brought up two huge factors in Gameweek 29. One of the biggest shocks of the round came when Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) failed to start against Leeds.

Saka came off the bench and failed to pick up any significant points in a 4-1 victory. This impacted bench boosters who held him. With a big game against Liverpool ahead, those who kept the faith could even be rewarded as there is little doubt that he won’t start.

Two of our regular contributors had a humorous exchange this week. Flapjack highlighted the excitement of HinduMonkey heading into the round. HinduMonkey went into Gameweek 29 backing Bournemouth assets in his team.

The standout Bournemouth performance came from budget enabler Dominic Solanke (£5.5m). The striker bagged a goal and picked up all three bonus points for his efforts. Solanke goes onto face Brighton, Leicester and Tottenham in the next three games so could have plenty of potential moving forward.

@Linn_FPL

Content creator and banana on pizza lover Lynn enjoyed one of the Leicester goals in Gameweek 29. The Foxes came into the new round with a double Gameweek ahead of them. This meant that some within the community decided to bring in some of their assets.

One of the most popular differentials coming into the round was defender Timothy Castagne (£4.4m). The Belgian managed to pick up an assist this week and with bonus managed to collect six points in FPL, even without the clean sheet. Leicester play Bournemouth, Wolves and Leeds in the next four games and owners will be hoping he can extend his Gameweek 29 performance looking ahead.

@Konate_FPL

Fantasy Football content creator Kon emphasised one of the most significant parts of the Gameweek. Coming into the double Gameweek many managers flocked to the Brighton assets. One of their most popular assets was midfielder Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m).

Although Mac Allister was playing deeper the Argentinian still manged to scrape a return from the penalty spot which resulted in a 6-point collection. Other popular midfielders like Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m) and Solly March (£5.2m) also picked up decent returns. Interestingly Brighton play Tottenham, Chelsea and then blank immediately after so it will be interesting to see if any managers sell even with doubles ahead.

@FPL_Raptor

Fantasy Football content creator and well respected FPL manager Ross also highlighted the performance of one man this week. Brentford also had a double Gameweek in 29 and whilst many stocked up on striker Ivan Toney (£7.9m) who scored in their first match, some also backed the goalkeeper.

David Raya (£4.9m) racked up a whopping 11 saves in in a 3-3 draw this week. With the help of two bonus points Raya hit a cool total of six points. With great fixtures ahead some may even think about starting him in every game rather than Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.7m).
