FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 26

We take a look at some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 26. With the new round approaching, we check out what some of the most elite managers have been talking about in the build up to the latest round of Fantasy Premier League.

Looking at what some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 26 are talking about could be highly beneficial to other managers. Whether they discuss expected minutes, potential transfer targets, chip strategy or other key factors, it can all help to provide clarity within our own teams.

@FPLFamily

Content creator and experienced FPL manager Lee highlighted the tough early start to Gameweek 25. Many were looking forward to what is usually a very exciting time for the community. However, things didn’t go to plan.

Many of the most popular double Gameweek assets blanked including the likes of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah (£6.8m) who failed to start his game against Leicester. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka (£8.5m) also blanked, who was also heavily captained. Luckily for some Gameweek 26 offers up normality with a single Gameweek.

@FplMode

Fantasy Football Scout and well respected FPL manager Andy returns with another great tweet this week. There has been a lot of uncertainty around whether Arsenal midfielder Gabriel Martinelli’s (£6.5m) minutes were safe moving forward.

Many within the community may have been surprised to see Gabriel Martinelli’s name on the team sheet. The Brazilian scored this week, punishing his sellers and doubters. Some could even be considering bringing him back into their teams already.

@HinduMonkey

Fantasy Football Community contributor and well respected manager HM was one of the many attracted by the double Gameweek’s this week. Whilst many backed Everton defenders HM decided to make a move for midfielder Dwight McNeil (£5.1m).

Everton lost their first game meaning those that backed both their defence and attack failed to pick up any significant returns. With no double Gameweeks and tough fixtures ahead, those same managers could be looking for a quick exit in terms of their assets.

@FPL_Harry

Fantasy Football content creator and excellent FPL manager Harry made the community aware of two important things this week. One of them was regarding Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez (£8.8m). He, a day after the deadline, was heavily rumoured to be missing their first game after so many backed him for his double Gameweek.

The second thing Harry highlighted was Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins (£7.2m). The striker has now picked up 40 points in his last five matches continuing a superb run of form. With a great set of fixtures ahead and a double game week scheduled, Ollie Watkins could be top of everyone’s shopping for the incoming rounds.

@LetsTalk_FPL

Fantasy Football content creator and experienced FPL manager Andy has already started to look ahead. Many will be looking to move Darwin Nunez out after failing to play his first match in Gameweek 25. Those same managers will be looking for a solid replacement.

Brentford have two double Gameweeks scheduled in the coming weeks. This means that many will be looking to Ivan Toney (£7.6m). The striker has already bagged 14 goals and three assists this season. Toney could well become a top target ahead of Gameweek 26.
