Catching up with the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 13 could be both fun and insightful. The experts cover some of the key topics ahead of the new round which could help bring clarity to some of the decisions we have to make in our own teams.
@FPLGOAT7
GOAT was out of the traps early in regards to his transfer plans for Gameweek 13. Amongst his plans was Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson (£7.9m). Many avoided him ahead of Gameweek 12 because he currently sits on four yellow cards, but those same managers may be kicking themselves.
Chelsea beat Leicester in their Gameweek 12 game and amongst the goals was Jackson. Jackson hit a goal, an assist and a 12-point return, whilst teammate Cole Palmer blanked. Jackson faces Aston Villa, Southampton, Tottenham and Brentford ahead, so it could be a great time to bring him in.
@FPLOlympian
Another player some within the community held back on bringing in was Bukayo Saka (£10.1m). The Arsenal talisman was a doubt ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest, but he ended up starting and bagging a goal and an assist.
Saka is another player likely to increase in ownership, ahead of meetings with West Ham, Manchester United and Fulham. However, with a midweek Champions League match against Sporting CP, it could be worth holding on for now.
@FPLMarcin
Marcin was one of few managers who kept Erling Haaland (£15.1m) when a large proportion of the community sold him recently. Gameweek 12 appeared to be a good one for the Norwegian, especially after learning that Tottenham would be without both of their main centre-backs.
Unfortunately, the above wasn’t the case for Haaland. Manchester City lost their match 4-0, which also meant that Haaland blanked again. He faces Liverpool away this week, arguably the toughest match on paper for any side. With that in mind, along with mixed fixtures ahead. Haaland could well become a popular sell this week.
@ZhouFPL
After a woeful start to the season, softening fixture difficulty seems to be helping Wolves turn their form around. Unbeaten in four matches now, their latest 4-1 win over Fulham was arguably their most convincing display of the season.
Forcing that good form is their star man and striker Matheus Cunha (£6.9m), who has now managed at least one return in five of his last six matches. Also in form is the cheaper Strand Larsen (£5.6m), who has banked a return in three of his last five.
Another popular asset ahead of the good Wolves fixtures was defender Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.8m). The Algerian has been considerably less successful than his teammates – picking up just two returns.
The fixtures still look fantastic for Wolves, so all three of the assets above could continue to gain traction.
