FPL Experts Ahead of Gameweek 12

We take a look at some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 12. With the new Gameweek approaching, we check out what some of the most elite managers have been talking about in the build up whether that be players to invest in, players to avoid and more.

Looking at what some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 12 are talking about could be highly beneficial to other managers. Whether they discuss expected minutes, potential transfer targets, chip strategy or other key factors, it can all help to provide clarity within our own teams.

@FPLReaction

Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Community contributor Louis picked up a big return this week. Many within the community decided against bringing in Newcastle full-back Kieran Trippier (£7m) during his tough fixtures.

Trippier played Arsenal this week and proved he can still pick up points even in the tough games with his nine-point return. He faces Bournemouth, Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton up next so there’s plenty of potential for him to continue his run.

@FPLFocal

One of the biggest fantasy football content creators around, FPL Focal, highlighted the output of one man in Gameweek 11. Manchester United have entered a favourable run of fixtures starting with their game against Fulham this week.

Manchester United were poor for most of their match against the Cottagers but a goal from Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) in stoppage time meant the Reds came away with the victory and their midfielder finished the match with 11 FPL points. With Luton and and Everton coming up in the next two games, some may even be tempted to bring him back into their squads.

@Pras_fpl

Fantasy Football Scout contributor Pras reminded everyone of one thing this week. Many made the call to captain Manchester City striker Erling Haaland (£14m) this week. The Norwegian came up against one of the worst defences in the league this week.

Manchester City demolished the Cherries 6-1 but Haaland failed to be involved in any of the goals scored and came off at half-time due to injury concern. One player who bagged a whopping return was midfielder Jeremey Doku (£6.6m). He banked a monstrous 22 points after producing four assists and one goal. The community could well be keeping an eye on Doku’ gametime moving forward.

@FPLfrasier

FPL Frasier also emphasised one asset this week. One of the most interesting clashes of Gameweek 11 came between Brentford and West Ham. After a thrilling game the Bees came away as victors after their 3-2 win.

As we can see West Ham midfielder Jarrod Bowen (£7.4m) was amongst the action. He scored a goal to pick up seven points. However as we can see below it could have been much more if teammate Michail Antonio finished his big chance. Bowen has a great set of matches ahead with the likes of Nottingham Forest, Burnley and Crystal Palace so owners have plenty of opportunity to rack up more points from the West Ham man.

Another interesting note from the game is the performance of Bryan Mbeumo (£6.8m). The Brentford midfielder created an assist but he too should have finished the game with more FPL points. Mbeumo managed one shot on target, three shots off target, and one big chance missed. It may be tough for him to continue his top form looking ahead with matches against both Liverpool and Arsenal up next.

@FPL_Harry

Fantasy Football Scout contributor Harry would have been content with the performance of Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) this week. Although not one of their most thrilling matches Brighton claimed an important point against a stubborn Everton this week.

Brighton pushed for most of the game after the Toffees struck first. It was the Japanese midfielder who made that happen after his pass was deflected into the goal. Mitoma’ assist and bonus meant he finished the game with a cool six points. With matches against Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest next, many within the community will be hoping to bring in Mitoma this week.
