Our FPL Challenge Gameweek 34 tips can be extremely helpful. What we provide in this article can give you the knowledge to help tackle the fixtures ahead, but more importantly give you an edge and get you a step closer to winning a prize.
What is the Gameweek 34 Challenge?
This weeks Challenge is called Promoted Punt. Players from Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United get double points.
Fixtures
This week seven teams play twice and so have a Double Gameweek. The teams doubling include Arsenal, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Everton, Liverpool, Sheffield United and Wolves.
Top Picks
Sheffield United could be a priority this week. Not only do the Blades have a Double Gameweek, unlike fellow promoted sides Burnley and Luton, but they also earn double points due to the Challenge.
The above also means, along with the fact that other teams play two fixtures this week, that backing the likes of Burnley and Luton could be very difficult, even though their players earn double points.
So, the only promoted side with a Double Gameweek is Sheffield United which means their assets could have four times their usual potential.
For those looking to back a defensive asset from Sheffield United then goalkeeper Ivo Grbic (£4.5m) could be the best option. In attack Ben Brereton Diaz (£5m) could be an essential. Playing up front but categorised as a midfielder in the game, Diaz managed a mammoth 18-points in Gameweek 30. Some may also take a chance on midfielder Gustavo Hamer (£4.9m), a player who has impressively collected a return in four of his last five matches.
Arsenal and Liverpool should also be popular in terms of investment. Both sides are vying for the title and play twice in Gameweek 34.
For Arsenal, the standout options remain to be centre-back Gabriel (£5.4m) and midfielder Bukayo Saka (£9m). However, many may be deciding between centre-back William Saliba (£5.9m) or midfielder Kai Havertz (£7.4m) to fill the final Arsenal slot.
Meanwhile, rotation and key players returning from injury could make it more difficult to pick out Liverpool players. Of course the safest option at the back in terms of gametime is centre-back Virgil Van Dijk (£6.6m). However, eclipsing his teammate for attacking potential is the riskier Trent Alexander Arnold (£8.4m). Not many will be without midfielder Mohamed Salah (£13.5m) in attack. But, picking between striker Darwin Nunez (£7.7m) and midfielder Luis Diaz (£7.8m) could take some thought.
Captaincy
Taking into account the Challenge itself and the fact he has a double Gameweek, the standout captain is of course Brereton Diaz.
However, for those that question his quality going into the double with a x2 multiplier then Mohamed Salah or Bukayo Saka could be the next best picks.

Hey Guys, usually I provide two different drafts here, one for casual players and one for players who want to take advantage of the loopholes. However, due to the Double Gameweek, using the loop holes could be more damaging to you overall chances this week.
Because of the above I have just one draft this week.
As you can see I haven’t opted for Burnley or Luton players. I don’t see much point in picking them because they don’t have Double Gameweeks.
I have picked four Sheffield United players, one being my captain, Brereton Diaz. Diaz comes up against two of the current worst defences in the league. As captain he is also basically on a x4 point multiplier.
I can’t fit in a Eberechi Eze in midfield which is annoying but Sheffield United, Arsenal and Liverpool have to take priority.
Good luck guys !
