FPL: Buy Sell and Keep for Gameweek 13

The round of Fantasy Premier League is over so we look to the next and look at which players are a buy sell and keep for Gameweek 13. Whether that be through injury, team and player form or other factors we advise the potential fate of assets in your teams.

Looking at players who are a buy sell and keep for Gameweek 13 could be extremely beneficial to FPL managers. Knowing what to do with assets in your team can ultimately bring clarity with transfer use, captaincy and chip strategy.

Buy

Arsenal – An uptake in results and good fixtures ahead, suggests Arsenal could be a fantastic team to invest in this week. In defence, the cheapest routes in are goalkeeper David Raya (£5.5m) and Jurrien Timber (£5.5m), however, Gabriel (£6.1m) is the standout in terms of attacking threat. Bukayo Saka (£10.2m) will likely be public target number one, whilst striker Kai Havertz (£7.9m) could also offer potential in attack.

Brighton – Southampton lay ahead this week, with great fixtures following that. Back-to-back wins suggest the Seagulls are in form, so bringing in their cheap assets could be beneficial. Defensively, goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen (£4.5m) and centre-back Paul Van Hecke (£4.5m) are cheap routes in. Striker Joao Pedro (£5.6m) is arguably their standout attacking option, along with fellow striker Danny Welbeck (£6m). Midfielder Kaoru Mitoma (£6.4m) could be a differential option in the frontline.

Chelsea – The Blues have a great long-term schedule ahead. The most reliable pick in defence for gametime is centre-back Levi Colwill (£4.5m), but Robert Sanchez (£4.7m) could be an option between the sticks. Midfielder Cole Palmer (£10.9m) remains their best pick in attack, whilst striker Nicolas Jackson (£8m) should be a major consideration as well.

Tottenham – With fixtures against Bournemouth and Fulham ahead, Tottenham assets could be still some of the best to buy. In goal, due to the injury to Guglielmo Vicario, Fraser Forster (£4.3m) is likely to take the number one spot. Pedro Porro (£5.5m) scored in his latest match, so remains a great option in defence. Amongst the cheaper picks Dejan Kulusevski (£6.3m) is in good form, along with the much pricier Son Heung-Min (£9.9m). The striker option is Dominic Solanke (£7.6m), who has managed four returns in his last three games.

Wolves – Wolves rank top with the easiest fixtures long-term. Rayan Ait Nouri (£4.8m) is still the standout pick at the back based on his attacking potential. In exceptional form is Matheus Cunha (£7m), who will be a main target for FPL managers. One cheap route into the attack however is fellow striker Strand Larsen (£5.6m), he has picked up a return in two of his last three matches.

Sell

Everton – The Toffees seem to have come to the end of their easy schedule. They come up against Manchester United, an in-from Wolves, Liverpool and Arsenal next. So, it could be time to sell their assets.

Fulham – Inconsistency from key assets is becoming frustrating. The Cottagers travel away to Tottenham this week, then face Brighton and Arsenal immediately after. Because of this and better options elsewhere, it could be time to let go of their players.

Erling Haaland (£15.1m) – Haaland may be performing well in the Champions League, but he has been well below expectations in the Premier League. It his price, it’s difficult to justify holding onto him. This is emphasised when taking into account the form and consistency of Mohamed Salah in regards to captaincy.

Keep

Aston Villa – Although inconsistent recently, Aston Villa are still scoring plenty of goals. Chelsea ahead may be a slight put off to some, but after the Blues they come up against Brentford and Southampton. With that in mind, it could be worth hanging onto the likes of striker Ollie Watkins (£9m) and midfielder Morgan Rogers (£5.4m).

Antoine Semenyo (£5.7m) – It’s far from ideal, but Semenyo’ suspension will only be for the round ahead. After that, he clashes with Tottenham, Ipswich and West Ham. This could mean plenty of potential for the Ghanian upon his return.

Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m) – With just one assist in his last three games, some are considering dumping Mbeumo. However, based on his form so far this season and penalty taking duty, that could be a big mistake. Mbeumo has a meeting with a managerless Leicester this week, a side who have been maintaining poor defensive data this season.

Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m) – His recent game may have put a lot of managers off keeping him. But Fernandes has one more great fixture until he faces Arsenal away. We also have to remember he only recently banked two back-to-back double-digit hauls.

Alexander Isak (£8.5m) – There are already murmurs in the community about offloading Isak. But, one blank against West Ham in Gameweek 12 shouldn’t be enough to sell him. He comes up against some of the worst defences in the league shortly, so could have massive potential.
