FPL : Buy and sell

We take a look through some of the Fantasy Premier League players that managers should look to buy and sell for the reminder of the season. With the help of the fixture ticker from Fantasy Football Scout, we come to a conclusion.

With the impending double Gameweeks and fixture swings, it could be vital to know which players we should buy and sell. This could help bring clarity to our decision making moving forward and assist with gaining rank or an edge over our mini-league rival.

Fixtures

Below we can see that the fixture ticker orders the teams at the top with the best fixtures and the teams at the bottom with the worst fixtures.

Buy

  • Brighton – They have the best fixtures in the league from now until the end of the season. We can also see that Brighton have two double Gameweeks scheduled for the run ahead. Not just this but they have also been maintaining some great defensive and offensive stats. Midfielders Solly March (£5.3m) and Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m) are two of the standout options.
  • Manchester United – The Reds play some of the worst teams in the league in their run ahead. They also have a double Gameweek. Players that should be considered include midfielders Marcus Rashford (£7.2m) and Bruno Fernandes (£9.4m).
  • Manchester City – They have some fantastic fixtures against poor teams and also have a double Gameweek. Players like midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (£12.2m) and striker Erling Haaland (£12.4m) should both be under consideration.
  • Liverpool – The Reds have good fixtures from now until the end of the season and have also been sustaining some great offensive stats. One of their best players to consider is Mohamed Salah (£13m).
  • Newcastle – They may have a tough game against Arsenal next but also have a double Gameweek ahead. They have a range of different players managers could select. The standout picks are defender Kieran Trippier (£6.2m) and strikers Callum Wilson (£6.9m) and Alexander Isak (£6.9m).

Sell

  • Brentford – They sit at the bottom of the fixture ticker this week whilst facing some tough teams in the rounds ahead. Ivan Toney (£7.5m) is a sell. Toney could be sold for a cheaper player. This would provide funds elsewhere. He could also help to bring in another striker with a double Gameweek ahead.
  • Aston Villa – It could be tough to hold any of their assets especially when considering some of the teams they face. Selling Ollie Watkins (£7.7m) could free up funds to the rest of the team if replaced with a cheaper asset. Owners could also replace Watkins with a double Gameweek striker.
  • Arsenal – Although they have maintained some great stats this season their remaining games could be tricky. Their pricey attacking options like midfielder Bukayo Saka (£8.3m) and Gabriel Jesus (£8.1m) could free up both funds to bring in another premium and open up a free spot within the side if sold.
  • Newcastle – They have a double Gameweek ahead. However from a defensive point of view, things are not looking good. Whilst many should look to keep defender Kieran Trippier (£6.2m) some should look to move on the likes of defenders Fabian Schar (£5.1m) and Sven Botman (£4.5m). This move will free up a space to include a second Newcastle attacker.
