The Top 5
1. Ollie Watkins – 228 Points
Aston Villa were fantastic in their 23/24 Premier League campaign and their third place finish was evidence of that. Whilst manager Unai Emery was a huge contributing factor towards that so was their main man Ollie Watkins.
Watkins produced a massive 228 points, making him the third highest scoring player in the entire game. Watkins created a mammoth 19 goals, 18 assists and 29 bonus points during that season. His most successful week came in Gameweek 7 against Brighton where he scored three goals and registered two assists.
2. Erling Haaland – 217 Points
Manchester City won their fourth consecutive title in 23/24 and several players were hugely influential in that. Albeit, Erling Haaland didn’t better his 22/23 campaign, but he still racked up a huge 217 points for his efforts.
Haaland claimed the Golden Boot award with 27 goals whilst also registering eight assists. The Norwegian accumulated eight double-digit hauls, of those his largest was a massive 21-pointer against Wolves where he netted four goals and secured three bonus.
3. Dominic Solanke – 175 Points
Although he didn’t quite make it to the 200-point mark, Dominic Solanke still had his best ever season in the Premier League. Many expected Bournemouth to be relegated in the 23/24 season. However their 12th place finish shows just how much they surprised football fans.
Of his 175 points Solanke hit 19 goals, three assists and 20 bonus points. His biggest Gameweek was in Gameweek 18 against Nottingham Forest. There he produced a huge 17 points with the help of three goals and three bonus.
Alexander Isak – 172 Points
Newcastle were hit and miss for large parts of their 23/24 campaign but several of their players stood out. One of them was of course Alexander Isak who collected a cool 172 points. Most of that was due to his 21 goals and four assists. 15 points against West Ham in Gameweek 30 was his biggest return of the season but his 14 pointer on the final day will be one of his most remembered amongst fantasy managers.
5. Jean Philippe Mateta – 165 Points
Completing the top five highest scoring forwards in 23/24 was Jean Philippe Mateta with 165 points. Although not the most consistent of the bunch, he was certainly one of the most explosive towards the latter stages of the campaign. 20 points on the final was his biggest return but no-one will forget the 29 points he picked up in double Gameweek 34 anytime soon.
