FPL 2025/26: Teams With the Best Fixtures After the Break

FPL 2025/26: Teams With the Best Fixtures After the Break is a crucial topic for managers looking to gain an edge in the weeks ahead. The international pause is the perfect time to reassess your squad, plan transfers, and take advantage of fixture swings.

In this guide, we’ll highlight the clubs with the strongest schedules and explain how targeting them can set you up for a big climb in rank.

Arsenal

It has been an excellent start to the season from Arsenal so far. The Gooners sit top if the Premier League table and go into their next matches off the back of four wins in all competitions.

The London side have impressed across the board. As well as ranking second best overall for total goals scored, they also rank second best for total clean sheets.

Shining from both a defensive and offensive perspective, Arsenal appear be on the minds of many FPL manager, and the fixtures pictured below show why.

As well as facing two of the three newly promoted sides, Arsenal also come up against geographical neighbours Fulham, Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Chelsea.

Brighton

One side who have started the season in mixed form is Brighton. The Seagulls have won two, drawn three and lost two in their first seven league games.

Their basic data also reflects the above. So far they sit seventh best overall for total goals scored, but ninth worst for total goals conceded.

As the saying goes though: ‘fixtures bring form’, and a good schedule ahead could be enough to help them gain consistency.

Matches against Newcastle and Crystal Palace will likely be their most challenging during the run ahead. But, with meetings against an out-of-sorts Manchester United, newly promoted Leeds, and hit-and-miss sides like Brentford and Nottingham Forest, don’t be surprised to see their assets succeed.

Wolves

No side has had a worse start to the new campaign than Wolves. Wolves are yet to win a single match this season – losing five and drawing two in the meantime.

Statistically Wolves rank second worst overall for expected goals, a worrying sign that they are lacking from an offensive perspective. Things are less sour defensively though – as they sit around mid-table for expected goals conceded.

Fortunately, their next two matches are winnable – as they clash with newly promoted sides Sunderland and Burnley. They also come up against Fulham and the out-of-sorts Aston Villa, which could be great opportunities to pick up points.

Chelsea

Chelsea started the season as one of the most popular sides to invest in. A kind starting schedule meant droves of managers flocked to them early doors.

Whilst fixtures have been fairly easy in terms of fixture difficulty, the Blues sit just seventh in the Premier League. With three wins, two draws and two losses in their first seven games, manager Enzo Maresca will be hoping to pick up some consistency.

If one thing can help steady the ship for Chelsea, it’s their upcoming fixtures. Matches against Nottingham Forest, Sunderland, Wolves and Burnley could see their assets shine, both in defence and attack.

Who else has good fixtures?

Whilst the four teams mentioned above have very good schedules, there are several other sides who could have potential.

A game against Manchester City next isn’t exactly ideal for Everton, but meetings with Sunderland, Fulham and Manchester United not longer after that could hold appeal.

West Ham are another side FPL managers will likely look to. The Hammers are now under guise of Nuno Santos, which should offer appeal in itself. However, with Brentford, Leeds, and Burnley in the next four, their assets could be some of the most sought after.

The newly promoted sides have surpassed a lot of expectations already. Both sides have shown fight and picked up results – something previous promoted teams have seriously lacked in recent seasons. With that in mind, and good fixtures ahead, both Burnley and Leeds may have potential ahead.
