As we approach the new round fantasy managers are looking for the best players to include in their squads. Because of this looking at the predicted player points for Gameweek 21 can help bring clarity to some of your decisions.

Predicted Player Points for Gameweek 21 – The Top Five

  • Bukayo Saka – The Arsenal penalty taker tops the list this week with 5.17 points. Saka remains in the top six scoring players in FPL due to his consistency this season and has a great match against an out of form Crystal Palace next up.
  • Diogo Jota – The departure of main man Mohamed Salah to AFCON looks like it could be a good one for Jota. The Portuguese attacker sits second this week with 5.11 points as he heads into a game against Bournemouth next up.
  • Trent Alexander-Arnold – Liverpool come up against a Bournemouth side in great scoring form this week. However, it’s no surprise that Trent sits third with 5.00 points due to his fantastic underlying attacking data recently.
  • Jarrod Bowen – West Ham have a meeting with the worst defence in the league next up, Sheffield United. Bowen look set to benefit (4.98 points), especially due to his consistency this season – he sits as the fifth highest scoring player in the game so far.
  • Martin Ødegaard – Completing the top five with 4.96 points is an another Arsenal attacker. The Norwegian has been quiet recently in terms output but a match against Crystal Palace could change that.

Who else joins the Top 10?

  • Ivan Toney – Brentford face Nottingham Forest next who have shipped at least two goals in half of their last 10 matches. Talisman and focal point to the frontline Ivan Toney returns after his lengthy ban and its no surprise he makes the top 10 (4.80 points).
  • Cole Palmer – Chelsea have a London Derby in Gameweek 21 against Fulham. Although the Cottagers edged Arsenal recently they still conceded 2-3 goals in three of their last four matches. The standout attacker at Chelsea is of course Cole Palmer who looks set for 4.73 points this week.
  • Pascal Gross – Wolves lay ahead for Brighton which could be a great opportunity for Gross. The German ranks eighth for points this week with 4.70. He is also Brighton’ highest scoring player in FPL this season and tops his teammates for minutes played.
  • Erling Haaland – It could be a big return for Haaland this week as Manchester City face-off with Newcastle. The Magpies have been conceding some of the worst data in the league as of late and Haaland looks set to scoop up 4.67 points.
  • Darwin Nunez – Despite some frustrating performances recently Nunez completes the top 10 this week with 4.59 points. Nunez leads the Liverpool frontline and will do so against a leaky Bournemouth side in Gameweek 21.
