Goalkeepers
I’ve built my goalkeeper picks around a simple rotation strategy – one at home, the other away.
- Carević (€5.0M) – He’s yet to concede after two rounds. The opponents weren’t the strongest, but he still pulled off some solid saves to secure back-to-back clean sheets.
- Patrick Sequeira (€4.5M) – Outstanding in Round 1, where he was named man of the match against Sporting. He followed it up with a clean sheet away from home in Round 2.
Defenders
- de Haas (€5.0M) – Locked into my team until the very end. Two clean sheets, dominant in duels, and still on penalties (though yet to take one).
- Mangas (€5.5M) – Highlighted last week and he delivered, finishing as the top scorer in points. Strong attacking potential and another goal wouldn’t be a surprise.
- Paulo Oliveira (€5.5M) – Rested in Braga’s Europa League match, meaning he’s nailed to start this weekend.
- Zaidu (€4.5M) – A short-term bargain pick. Back-to-back starts, plus he grabbed an assist last gameweek.
- Otamendi (€6.5M) – The most reliable defender in the league and Bruno Lage’s first-choice every single time.
Midfielders
- Trincão (€11.5M) – My go-to pick and arguably the best fantasy asset in the game. Consistently involved in goals and assists, he’s a must-have.
- Froholdt (€6.5M) – A box-to-box powerhouse, contributing at both ends of the pitch. Proved again last week why he’s one of the league’s most complete midfielders.
- Diego Rodrigues (€4.5M) – A rotation-based pick, but he’s played 90 minutes in both of Braga’s matches and already has a goal to his name.
- Zalazar (€7.5M) – With Ricardo Horta likely sidelined and other absences in Braga’s squad, Zalazar should get his first league start. Braga already qualified midweek, so he’ll be fresh.
- Aursnes (€8.0M) – Another Bruno Lage favorite, lining up on the wing. Brings creativity, assist potential, and even the odd goal.
Forwards
- Ivanović (€10.0M) – My captain this round. Rested midweek and now up against the weakest side in the league. Perfect setup for a big haul.
- Elisor (€6.5M) – A consistent performer with 1 goal and 1 assist in his first two matches. Playing at home boosts his scoring chances further.
- Luuk de Jong (€9.0M) – Benefits from Samu’s absence and has a strong chance of finding the net at home.
Good luck this gameweek!
