Team Reveal

This is the final round before the next international break, and with several clubs involved in European competitions, recovery time is short. Even so, we can expect those sides to continue fielding strong starting line-ups.

Goalkeepers

This week, I’ve selected two goalkeepers with favourable home fixtures against opponents who have created few chances. Horníček (€5.5M) takes the starting spot, while Robles (€4.9M) is on the bench. Robles has been decisive for Estoril in recent weeks, producing multiple key saves to keep his side competitive.

Defenders

In defence, Quaresma (€5.4M) returns to Sporting’s XI, benefiting from Fresneda’s absence and Vagiannidis’ recent dip in form.

Last week’s call on Elimbi (€4.2M) paid off as he delivered a clean sheet. He retains his place, this time in an away fixture against an AFS side that continues to struggle in the final third.

Benfica statistically have the highest clean sheet probability this round, so I’ve doubled up on their defence. Dédic (€5.9M) is available again following injury, while Tomás Araújo (€6.0M) steps into a leadership role with Otamendi suspended due to yellow card accumulation.

Finally, Lelo (€5.5M) earns inclusion. He is the defender with the most attacking contributions in the league and now plays at home against Moreirense – a favourable matchup for both defensive returns and forward involvement.

Midfielders

For Rio Ave, André Luiz (€6.2M) continues to be their most influential player. He faces Alverca away, a side experiencing significant defensive issues.

Froholdt (€6.5M) also keeps his place. He remains a central figure for Porto in both phases of play.

After an excellent performance in Europe – scoring twice and standing out as Braga’s best player – Zalazar (€7.4M) will look to respond positively after the league defeat to Genk. His importance to Vicente’s side continues to grow.

Luís Esteves (€5.9M) returns from suspension and should immediately add creativity and attacking intent back into the Gil Vicente midfield.

The final midfield selection is João Carvalho (€6.1M), who remains Estoril’s most reliable performer. He leads the squad in minutes played and continues to post consistent underlying numbers.

Forwards

Up front, Suárez (€10.6M) enters the round after two matches without a goal and will be determined to get back on the scoresheet.

Pavlidis (€12.6M) is expected to be one of the top-scoring forwards this week. Playing at home against Casa Pia and taking penalties, he carries strong goal involvement potential.

Lastly, Pablo (€5.9M) has emerged as Gil Vicente’s standout attacking threat. He scored again in the previous round, taking his tally to 4 goals and 1 assist in his last 3 league appearances.
