After a strong Gameweek where 13 of my 15 players returned, we go again aiming to keep the momentum.

Goalkeepers

This week, I’ve opted for two goalkeepers playing at home against sides that have created very few scoring opportunities.

Sequeira (€4.5M) starts.
João Valido (€4.0M) stays on the bench.

Defenders

Since every good attack begins with a solid defense, I’ve targeted defenders who can offer either clean sheet potential, attacking involvement, or high duel-winning numbers.

Iván Fresneda (€5.9M) has regained his role at Sporting and is showing more attacking involvement. With Sporting facing Tondela, he has a good chance of returning.
Aitor Larrazabal (€5.0M) remains a favourite of João Pereira at Casa Pia. He plays as an attacking wing-back, though Casa Pia have been less effective offensively this season.
Elimbi (€4.1M) was highlighted last week as a duel monster – and delivered. He finished as the player with the most duels won in the round and kept a clean sheet. This week he plays at home against Santa Clara, a team that has struggled to score.
Alberto (€6.0M) is risky given Porto play Braga, but Alberto previously played for Vitória SC (Braga’s fierce rivals) and remains one of the most attacking defenders in the league. There’s a realistic chance Braga fail to score.
Otamendi (€6.5M) is the most nailed defender in Portugal. He is Benfica’s second penalty taker, leads the league in defensive duels won, and still pops up with goals — he scored again last round.

Preferred four: Fresneda – Elimbi – Alberto – Otamendi
Bench: Larrazabal (still a playable option if needed)

Midfielders

Trincão (€11.5M) may have shown fatigue recently, but he’s at home against the weakest defense in the league, which is why he is my captain this week.
André Luiz (€6.2M) has quietly been Rio Ave’s most influential player this season – even more than Clayton – and his underlying stats support that.

Two exciting additions:

De Amorim (€4.5M) (Famalicão) scored last week and continues to rack up defensive duels.
Prestianni (€7.5M) comes off an excellent U20 World Cup, earned a penalty and provided an assist in his first league start, and looks set to keep his place.

To complete the midfield:

Froholdt (€6.5M) remains one of Porto’s most important two-way players. He consistently wins duels and always carries the potential for a goal contribution.

Forwards

All three forwards scored last round:

Luis Suárez (€10.6M) scored once and could have had more if not for exceptional goalkeeping. He remains the first-choice penalty taker.
Samu (€11.5M) also scored from the spot and remains reliable.
Pablo (€5.8M) was outstanding for Gil Vicente last round with both a goal and an assist, and he continues to look like their standout attacker.
