Our Fantasy EFL Fantasy top picks for Gameweek 30 can be hugely beneficial for fantasy managers. Knowing who the best players to own in each position and the best teams to select are, could be hugely beneficial for the round ahead.
Owen Goodman – AFC Wimbledon

Kicking off this week’s picks is Goodman, who plays for a Wimbledon side that boasts the best defensive record in League Two. They lead the division in clean sheets and have conceded the fewest goals per match. With a home fixture against Bromley – where they’ve kept five consecutive clean sheets – and a trip to Morecambe, who have failed to score in seven of their last ten games, Goodman is highly likely to secure two more clean sheets this week.
Sam Walker – Bradford City

Another goalkeeper in exceptional form is Bradford’s Walker, who has conceded just once in his last nine league games. This week, he faces Salford and Cheltenham, and with Bradford pushing for promotion, he should maintain his impressive run. Walker is undoubtedly a top pick for the gameweek.
Defenders
Ryan Johnson – AFC Wimbledon

Next in defence is another Wimbledon asset, Johnson. Not only is he part of the best defensive unit in League Two, but he also racks up defensive action points, averaging over four per game in his last five matches. If he secures a clean sheet, he’ll earn 11 points, making him a standout pick for this week.
Jack Shepherd – Bradford City

Another strong defensive option is Bradford’s Shepherd, who plays in one of the league’s most in-form backlines. Like Johnson, he provides defensive action points, averaging three per game in the five matches before his recent red card. If he secures a clean sheet, he could easily hit double digits in points, making him a solid selection.
Midfielders
Davis Keillor-Dunn – Barnsley

Returning to the top picks this week is Barnsley’s attacking midfielder Keillor-Dunn. Last week, he delivered 20 points in a double gameweek, and with fixtures against Lincoln and Charlton, he’ll be aiming for a similar haul. With 12 goals and three assists this season, he remains a top midfield option.
Daniel Kemp – Stevenage

The second midfield pick is Stevenage’s Kemp. While he hasn’t been the most consistent, he has delivered four double-digit returns in the last 10 games, proving his explosive potential. With upcoming matches against Huddersfield and Cambridge, he’s likely to produce at least one strong performance – possibly even in both, as he did in Gameweeks 25 and 26.
Forwards
Alassana Jatta – Notts County

Leading the forward selections is Jatta of Notts County. With 15 goals and five assists in just 27 appearances, he’s almost guaranteed to deliver over a two-game period. This week, he faces Fleetwood and Barrow, two matchups where he should secure multiple returns, making him a must-have for the double gameweek.
Lorent Tolaj – Port Vale

Despite missing the last match due to a knock, Tolaj remains a top pick. The Port Vale forward has three goals and two assists in his last four appearances, returning in every game he’s played. Facing Tranmere and Harrogate – two of the league’s weaker sides – he’s well-positioned to continue his scoring streak and add to his 13 goal contributions in just 22 games.
Teams to Target
Port Vale
Port Vale are a key team to target this week as they take on Tranmere and Harrogate, who sit 22nd and 21st in the table, just above the relegation zone. For a Vale side pushing for automatic promotion, these are must-win games, making their assets highly valuable this week.
AFC Wimbledon
AFC Wimbledon are another team to prioritize, with fixtures against Bromley and Morecambe. Wimbledon are on a 12-game unbeaten run, winning their last five home matches. Morecambe, on the other hand, are in the relegation zone, making this a great opportunity for Wimbledon to secure two crucial wins in their chase for automatic promotion.
