Fantasy EFL Top Picks for Gameweek 11

Last modified date

In this article we take a look at the Fantasy EFL top picks for Gameweek 11. We bring in our expert and regular Fantasy EFL contributor @FPLEdgeworth to reveal his fixtures tickers and highlight the best assets in each league for the doubles ahead.

Our Fantasy EFL Fantasy top picks for Gameweek 11 can be hugely beneficial for fantasy managers. Knowing who the best players to own in each position and top two teams to target are could help you beat your mini-league rivals and secure a good rank.

Fixture Ticker Key

Understanding how our expert has rated each fixture is vital and below is a key to bring some clarity.

Teams with green fixtures have the easiest matches whilst the teams with the red fixtures have the toughest. Also, the lower the total FDR score is, the better a teams run of fixtures are.

Championship

  • Burnley – They play both Sheffield Wednesday and Hull this week, two teams in the bottom half of the table. Burnley currently sit 3rd, and are also undefeated in their last six league games. Some of the players to target in order of best to worst are: Josh Brownhill (midfielder), Lucas Pires (defender), and Maxime Estève (defender).
  • Norwich City – My next team to target in the Championship is Norwich. The Canaries play Stoke and Preston, who are both in the bottom eight of the league. Norwich have produced just one defeat in the league since opening day. Some of the players you made want to consider are: Borja Sainz (forward), Callum Doyle (defender), and Josh Sargent (forward).
  • Sunderland – Sunderland play Hull and Luton in their next two matches, both of whom sit in the bottom half and both of whom are also coming off losses in the league. Sunderland sit top of the league after a fantastic start to the campaign. Players I would recommend would be: Dennis Cirkin (defender), Patrick Roberts (midfielder), and Anthony Patterson (goalkeeper).

League One

  • Exeter City – Starting off in League One, the first team I want to focus on is Exeter. They play Shrewsbury and Reading, two sides who are in the bottom eight of the league. On the other hand Exeter have lost just one in their last five games. Some players to pick from Exeter would be Joe Whitworth (goalkeeper), Johnly Yfeko (defender), and Jack McMillan (defender).
  • Mansfield Town – Next up are high flyers Mansfield, who play Stevenage and Wigan. Mansfield are another side who have started the season very well as they currently reside 3rd in the league and have won each of their last five games. Players to pick from the high flyers are: Christy Pym (goalkeeper), Will Evans (forward), and Adedeji Oshilaja (defender).
  • Wrexham – My final team to target in League One is Wrexham, who play Rotherham and Huddersfield, two teams that average out to four losses so far this season. Wrexham have been brilliant and they sit second because of it. Some players you could pick from the Welsh club are: Arthur Onkonkwo (goalkeeper), Elliot Lee (midfielder), and Eoghan O’Connell (defender).

League Two

  • Chesterfield – Newly promoted Chesterfield are my first team to target in League Two, a team that have lost just one of their last seven games and this week they play Newport and Colchester, two teams that have both failed to pick up wins in their last two games. Players to pick from The Spireites include: Tom Naylor (midfielder), Darren Oldaker (midfielder), and Dilan Markanday (forward).
  • Doncaster Rovers – Doncaster clash with Swindon and Bromley this week, two teams who have played 21 games between them and only managed four wins. On the other hand Doncaster have picked up six more wins than the two combined and currently sit 2nd. Three options you could choose: are Luke Molyneux (midfielder), Jamie Sterry (defender), and Owen Bailey (midfielder).
  • Walsall – The final team to target this week is Walsall, who play Grimsby, and Carlisle, who in both of their last three games only combined for one win. Walsall have only lost one of their last five games and currently sit 4th. To target those teams with Walsall assets you could choose: Nathan Lowe (forward), Ryan Stirk (midfielder), and Taylor Allen (midfielder).
