Fantasy EFL Team Reveal for Gameweek 15

Goalkeeper

Owen Goodman – AFC Wimbledon – The first player in my team this week is Wimbledon goalkeeper Goodman, although I picked him last week and it didn’t work out. The double Gameweek is reason enough alone for his selection, but the lack of good Wimbledon defender options also contributes to his appeal.

Defenders

Marc Roberts – Barnsley – My first of three defenders is Roberts. The Barnsley defender has several different routes to points – having already managed three goals and 89 clearances this season. He has also banked two clean sheets in his last two matches. Roberts comes up against Cambridge this week, who currently sit in the relegation zone, which is a perfect opportunity for him to perform.

Farrend Rawson – Accrington Stanley – Rawson is another double-gameweek starting for me this week, with meetings against Swindon and Wimbledon. In Rawson’s last four last four games he has produced 31 points, including 26 clearances and three clean sheets. The Swindon game should be a good chance to pick up a clean sheet, whilst in the Wimbledon fixture, he should pick up double-digit clearances.

Connor Hall – Port Vale – Hall plays for League Two leaders, which already holds appeal. He clashes with Morecambe, who are currently sitting at the bottom of the league. Three clean sheets in their previous four away league games shows just how good they can be defensively and Hall could benefit.

Midfielders

Ben Woods (C) – Accrington Stanley – My current captain is Woods. As well as having a double gameweek, Woods has also collected an impressive three double-digit hauls in his last five matches. One double-digit haul from Woods this week, in any of his matches, would be a captaincy success.

Luke Molyneux – Doncaster Rovers – Molyneux is the highest scoring midfielder available to pick this week. After a mixed season so far, including massive hauls, red cards, and a several blanks, he seems to be gaining some consistency – with four returns in his last six games. With Salford at home this week, he should add to his impressive six goals and four assists so far this season.

Forwards

Matty Stevens (VC) – AFC Wimbledon – My final player in this week’s team reveal is Stevens. The Wimbledon striker has had a reasonable start to the season with five goals and one assist in just nine starts. This week, with his strike partner on international duty, he will be the main man against Barrow and Accrington, two fixtures he can definitely pick up goals in.

Team Selections

AFC Wimbledon – This week will follow the same theme as last week. I will be picking the only two teams with double Gameweeks, both sides also play each other. The better of the two teams and the team I support is my first pick. They play both Barrow and Accrington. As well as being unbeaten to Barrow last season, I will also get at least six points from the clash against Accrington.

Accrington – Accrington play Swindon and AFC Wimbledon. Similarly to Wimbledon, they have an easier first game where they should get a draw at minimum. Two attempts to keep clean sheets, score goals and win is difficult to ignore.
