Fantasy EFL Play-Off Second Leg Team Reveal

Not sure how to set up for the round ahead? Don’t worry, we bring in our expert @FPLEdgeworth to share his Fantasy EFL Play-Off Second Leg Team Reveal

Let’s discover who our expert has picked for each position, his favourite team picks, and who he is going to captain!

Team Reveal

Starting in goal is Michael Cooper of Sheffield United. In the first leg, Cooper secured a clean sheet away at Bristol City. With Sheffield United now defending a three-goal lead at home, they should remain solid at the back, making another clean sheet highly likely.

My captain this week is Anel Ahmedhodzic of Sheffield United. As mentioned, they are protecting a three-goal lead, making another clean sheet a strong possibility. In the first leg, Ahmedhodzic made six clearances, and with a more defensive setup expected this week, he should add to that tally.

Next is the highest-scoring player of the playoffs so far, Riley Harbottle of AFC Wimbledon. After a 1-0 victory against Notts County away from home, Wimbledon will look to defend their lead and secure another clean sheet at home.

Completing the defence is Lloyd Jones of Charlton Athletic. Charlton drew their first game and will now play at home in what is effectively a one-off match. Jones earned 12 points in the first leg, and with a clean sheet and a potential win, he could deliver a similar haul.

Moving to midfield, Oliver Norwood of Stockport County takes his place. He scored and assisted in a draw against Leyton Orient, amassing an impressive 13 points. Stockport will be aiming for Wembley, and Norwood will look to replicate his attacking impact.

Joining him in midfield is Jack Rudoni of Coventry City. Rudoni scored in the first leg, but Coventry lost by one goal. With the team looking to equalize the tie in the second leg, Rudoni is expected to be a key player. Rudoni is also key to their attack.

Leading the line alone is Charlie Kelman of Leyton Orient. As the League One top scorer, Kelman began his playoff campaign with two goals. With the tie level going into the second leg, he has the potential to score the decisive goal.

As for team selections, I have picked Coventry City first. Despite trailing in the tie and needing an away win at Sunderland, Coventry largely dominated the first game and only conceded due to mistakes. I expect them to turn the tie around.

Chesterfield are also a team I like this week. Although they are down by two goals, it would be a surprise if they fail to advance despite losing the match. This would still secure them the away win points. Also, their opposition Walsall fails to convince.
