Notes
- Not a single day without EFL action, and our full focus now shifts to GW15. All three leagues play this weekend before the international break, but Iām avoiding Championship assets for now due to the heavy schedule. Each team faces three matches in seven days, and fatigue will definitely play a role. If I notice major rotation midweek, I might reconsider this stance.
- Goalkeepers remain the safest Championship picks, which is why Iāve gone for WBAās Griffiths, reliable, backed by a solid Midlands defence, and facing an Oxford side that are good but not elite. A clean sheet looks realistic here.
- In defence, the new bonus structure has reduced the appeal of big-at-the-back strategies. The focus should be on home players with both clean sheet potential and attacking threat. Fitzwater and Demetriou perfectly fit that model. Wiganās poor away form and the possible absence of Shrewsburyās key man Sam Clucas further strengthen those picks.
- Midfield is where the real points are. Norwood and Cozier-Duberry remain consistent, with ACD even a captaincy contender this week. My third midfielder, Creweās OāReilly, is more of a punt – but heās on the verge of a breakout, and this could be the week.
- Up front, Udoh is my lone striker pick. Heās got a good matchup, incredible form, and, in my view, is the best striker in the league, fixture-proof and dependable.
- Club picks of the week: Southampton who are under their new coach and Chesterfield. I think both should win this week.

Notes
- In goal, Iāve gone for Griffiths. He faces an Oxford side who havenāt been great going forward recently, creating very little, only scoring once from open play in their last five. I think thereās a good chance of a clean sheet here alongside some save points.
- In defence, my first pick is Oluwo. A fan favourite from earlier in the season and for good reason. Heās got a great fixture this week and has good bonus and also carries significant goal threat from set pieces. Joining him is Demetriou, his defensive numbers are still excellent, they play a Shrewsbury side who have improved a bit, but I think he can still see a clean sheet.
- In midfield, ACD is the first name on my team sheet. Heās been brilliant lately and is in great form. Even though heās been overperforming a bit, heās still a great pick with his attacking threat and bonus numbers. He plays Port Vale, who arenāt great defensively either. Louza joins him, he is one of my favourite all-rounder picks right now, with four goals in four consecutive games, on all set pieces including pens. He has multiple routes to points and will tick along nicely. The last midfield spot goes to Norwood. You know what youāre getting with him, another consistent all rounder option who can do very well even without attacking contributions especially vs Luton and hence takes the armband.
- Up front, Salech leads the line. He has secured minutes if he starts, on penalties and has the highest xG per 90 in the league. He plays a Blackpool side who arenāt the best defensively either.
- For my team picks, Iāve gone with Salford and Chesterfield. Salford at home to Cambridge looks a good fixture, and even though Cambridge have been a bit better defensively, Salford should still have enough quality to get a result. Chesterfield are the other pick, in good form and at home again, so feel confident backing them this week.

Notes
- For the goalkeeper spot, Iāve gone with Griffiths. West Bromwich Albion have a favourable home fixture against Oxford this week. Although Oxford have shown improvement, they still arenāt known for being a particularly strong attacking side. WBA have been solid at home defensively and typically donāt concede many, so I think Griffiths is the standout option.
- In defence, my first pick is Dunkley. The home fixture against Accrington looks like a strong clean sheet opportunity. On top of that, Dunkley carries goal threat and picks up defensive points consistently. Heās averaging nearly 12 clearances per match so far, which gives him a very reliable floor.
- My second defender is Demetriou, who is also putting up excellent clearance numbers ā averaging over 10 clearances per game. He has a home match against Shrewsbury, and again, the clean sheet potential looks promising.
- Moving into midfield, the first name in is Louza. The fixture against Bristol City looks good, especially with them dealing with some injury issues. Louza has multiple routes to points and scored twice in the recent double gameweek, so I feel heās close to a must-have this week.
- Next is Cozier-Duberry. Bolton look like one of the strongest sides in League One currently, and with a good home fixture ahead, itās hard to look past him. He offers returns in several different ways which boosts his appeal.
- My final midfielder is Norwood, who is averaging 9.5 points per game. The fixture is favourable and, again, he has a wide range of possible scoring avenues. All three midfield picks can deliver points in multiple ways, which makes them very hard to avoid this week.
- Finally, up front Iāve selected Armstrong. Southampton are currently managerless, but that may not be a negative going into a great home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday. Armstrong still has two goals in his last six games, nine shots on target, and he even missed a penalty in that period. The opportunities are there, and the quality is still clear, so I think he remains a strong option.
- For team selections, Iāve gone with Chesterfield first. I like their home fixture against Accrington and their overall defensive stability at home should continue.
- My second team is Bradford, who have been very impressive this season and remain unbeaten at home. I expect that momentum to continue.

Notes
- Goalkeeper: Iām starting Egil Selvik this week, as he plays at home against a Bristol City side who are really struggling at the moment. The fixture, plus the home advantage, makes him a strong pick between the sticks.
- Defence: Iām sticking with two at the back. First up is Chey Dunkley, who continues to be a monster for clearances and also has a favourable home fixture against Accrington. Alongside him is Jack Tucker. He also posts excellent clearance numbers, and I like his chances of a clean sheet as he faces Bromley at home.
- Midfield: Iām going fairly template in midfield this week, but for good reason – all three have big upside.
- Imran Louza comes in with strong recent form in both goals and interceptions,
- Oliver Norwood remains the top-scoring midfielder in the game and is included for his all-round consistency, and Amario Cozier-Duberry offers real attacking threat, with a good home fixture to boost his appeal.
- Forward: Up front Iām backing Daniel Udoh. He has produced 11 goal contributions in 14 games, which is excellent output, and I fancy Salford to score a couple against Cambridge.
- Club Selections: This week Iām backing Watford, who have home advantage and face a Bristol City side low on confidence. Iām also selecting Chesterfield, who are unbeaten at home and come up against an Accrington side currently in the relegation zone.
- Captain: My captain for the week is Imran Louza (C).
