Experts Ahead of Gameweek 29
It has been a turbulent Double Gameweek so far with lots of key discussions so we check out what the FPL experts have been talking about ahead of Gameweek 29, whether that be player or team performance, chip strategy or anything else of significance.
Ahead of Gameweek in 29, many within the community are debating what to do, what moves to make and what chips to play. Checking out what our FPL experts have been highlighting this week could help bring clarity to some of those decisions.

There has been a lot of ‘hivemind’ talk in the community this week and Pras highlights that here with his light hearted post.
Many within the community are already scouting Manchester United assets ahead of their potential Double in Gameweek 34 or 37. One of those players is midfielder Alejandro Garnacho. The 19-year-old Argentine has impressed recently – collecting two goals and three assists in his last six league matches.
Garnacho is amongst a handful of players being scouted for the run ahead, along with his teammate Bruno Fernandes. It has been an extremely slow campaign for Fernandes this season. But, the fact he has managed an attacking return in each of his last three matches could be a turning point in his season.

The biggest talking point of Gameweek 28 so far was of course Dominic Solanke. FPL managers were excited ahead of Bournemouth’ double Gameweek and one player many were looking to for captaincy and even triple captaincy was this man.
Solanke had a torrid start to the week, missing a penalty and blanking in his first match against Sheffield United. He has one more game against Luton to repay the faith in owners in a few days time.
It is also worth highlighting his schedule ahead of Gameweek 29. Although he blanks this week he also faces Everton, Crystal Palace and Luton in his three fixtures after that.
@FplMode
It wasn’t just Solanke affected by the Cherries poor performance this week. The 2-2 draw against Sheffield United also meant that their defensive assets blanked. Popular defender Illia Zarbarnyi picked up one point for conceding two goals this week. Those that took a risk with Milos Kerkez were further punished after he received a yellow card and got subbed at half time.

Bournemouth weren’t the only side playing a double in Gameweek 28. Many decided to back the Luton players ahead of their matches against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. However, they suffered the same fate as those who backed the Bournemouth assets.
Some managers didn’t just back Carlton Morris this week though, they also made the bold move of shipping out Erling Haaland for him. We are yet to know if the move will backfire but it is also important to emphasise that Morris still has a game to play.

One player we could start considering again is Kai Havertz. Many within the community will automatically reject this. However, his recent performances warrant at least a discussion. The German has started the last six league matches for his side and in that period managed a huge four goals and four assists.
After Blanking in Gameweek 29 and facing Manchester City in Gameweek 30, the Gooners then go onto play Luton, Brighton, Aston Villa and Wolves. With that in mind and taking into account his recent form. Havertz could well be the third Arsenal player we all look to.
