Expert Differentials for Gameweek 3
In this article we take a look at some FPL expert differentials for Gameweek 3. At the same time @FBLThinker, @FPL_ElStatto, @FplRabbi, @FplShakenbake and @FPLReaction battle it to see who can earn the title ‘Differential King’.
Differentials are players who have low ownership. This means that if those players are successful then they could significantly boost both your rank and mini-league position. This is exactly why differentials are such an important part of the game.
Note: All ownership stats are likely to change.
@FPL_ElStatto
“Sammie Szmodics – 0.3% – Ipswich – £6m – Home to Fulham, it’s the first good test for Ipswich where they will hope to get something from the game. Ipswich will be expecting a lot from new signings Clarke and Szmodics and if they can carry their Championship form into the PL I expect to see both be their talismen”.
@FplRabbi
“Yoane Wissa – 5.9% – Brentford – £6.1m – He is home to Southampton who just look off it at the moment. Brentford usually start the season well at home, and I think Wissa could get on the scoresheet as he did in the first round”.
@FplShakenbake
“Antoine Semenyo – 2.4% – Bournemouth – £5.5m – With an attacking return in both games so far, the trip to Goodison, and facing a hapless looking Everton, looks prime for Semenyo to continue his rich run of form”.
@FBLThinker
“Adama Traore – 1% – Fulham – £5m – He looks a well oiled machine on the flanks creating lots of chances. Traore has a fixture against Ipswich who have shown a lot of defensive frailties in their first two matches”.
@FPLReaction
“Bryan Mbeumo – 5.1% – Brentford – £7m – Brentford have a fantastic fixture against Southampton this week. The Saints look like their going to struggle this season for me and I want to target them this week. Mbeumo seems to thrive without Ivan Toney and with penalty duty added into the mix he could have massive potential this week.
Gameweek 2 Scoring
- @FPL_ElStatto – He picked Son Heung-min last week. The Tottenham talisman banked a mammoth 16 points after scoring a brace against Everton.
- @FplRabbi – Kevin De Bruyne was his pick in Gameweek 2. Manchester City swept aside Ipswich with a 4-1 victory and the Belgian collected 12 points for his goal, assist and two bonus.
- @FplShakenbake – He opted for Southampton striker Adam Armstrong. The Saints were edged by Nottingham Forest 1-0 so combined with his yellow card Armstrong flopped to just one point.
- @FBLThinker – James Maddison was his second pick of the campaign. The Tottenham midfielder hit six points in a 4-0 win for his assist.
- @FPLReaction – He picked Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood. Wood failed to contribute to his sides only goal and with his yellow card on top of that he managed just one point.
Overall Scoring
- 1st – @FPL_ElStatto – 25 points
- 2nd – @FBLThinker and @FplRabbi – 14 points
- 3rd – @FplShakenbake – 9 points
- 4th – @FPLReaction – Two points
