Our EURO 2024 Fantasy Matchday 4 coverage could be invaluable for managers. Checking out goals, assists and player of the match awards from the previous matches could help with things like transfers, captaincy and chip strategy.

England 2-1 Slovakia (AET)

Slovakia struck early in the 25th minute to take the lead after a questionable start from England. Scoring the first goal was forward Ivan Schranz (€5.5m) who picked up his third return of the tournament. The Slovakia forward scooped up six points for his efforts. Assisting the goal was fellow striker David Strelec (€5.5m) who picked up five points.

It took England until the 95th minute to equalise and they did that via a Jude Bellingham (€8.5m) overhead-kick. The Real Madrid midfielder banked a huge nine points after also earning the player of the match award. Creating the goal was centre-back Marc Guehi (€4.5m). He also produced a huge 11 ball recoveries which helped him to a seven-point return. Guehi picked up a yellow card during the game which meaning he is suspended for the quarter-finals.

The final goal and England winner was scored by star striker Harry Kane (€11m). Kane managed six point for his contribution and it was fellow forward and substitute Ivan Toney (€6.5m) who created the goal which meant he collected four points.

Popular midfielder assets including the likes of Bukayo Saka (€8.5m) and Phil Foden (€9m) failed to pick up anything of significance.

Spain 4-1 Georgia

Georgia showed early fight and were the first team to score in the game. Defender Otar Kakabadze (€4.5m) forced the own goal from Spain centre-back Robin Le Normand (€4.5m). Kakabadze hit four points for his goal contribution.

Spain hit back with a huge four goals to sink Georgia. The biggest returns came from midfield. Fabian Ruiz (€6.5m) scored and assisted to bag 10 points. Left winger Nico Williams (€7m) matched his teammate for points after his goal and assist. Edging them both with 11 points was Rodri (€6.5m) who scored from outside the box. The Manchester City man also picked up the player of the match award which contributed to his tally.

Also amongst the goals was substitute Dan Olmo (€7.5m) who picked up a cool six points. Forwards Lamine Yamal (€6.5m) and in-game forward Mikel Oyarzabal (€7.5m) both managed to pick an assist and collect four and five points respectively.

EURO Fantasy managers would have been frustrated after midfielder Pedri (€7m) played just 52 minutes of the game. The Barcelona man failed to get involved amongst the goals and so ended with one point.
