EURO Fantasy Matchday 1: Monday and Tuesdays Goals, Assists and Player of the Match Awards

We continue our coverage of the summer tournament. Here our focus is on EURO 2024 Fantasy Matchday 1 as we cover all of Monday and Tuesdays goals, assists and player of the match awards. We also highlight anything else of extreme significance.

Romania 3-0 Ukraine

Many expected much better from Ukraine as they were dismantled by Romania 3-0.

The highest scoring player in the tie was Nicolae Staniciu (€5.5m). The Romania midfielder hit 13 points due to his goal from outside the box and player of the match award.

Also contributing was midfielder Razvan Marin (€5.5m) who collected eight points for his goal outside the box.

Dennis Mann (€5m) produced two assists for his side which resulted in an eight-point return. Fellow striker Denis Dragus (€5.5m) also scored which helped him to six points.

The Romania clean sheet also meant returns right across the backline.

Belgium 0-1 Slovakia

Belgium went into the game as heavy favourites, however Slovakia snuck a 1-0 victory.

The star performance came from Slovakia midfielder Stanislav Lobotka (€5.5m). The Napoli man managed nine points due to nine ball recoveries and a player of the match award.

The winning goal came via striker Ivan Schranz (€5.5m) who collected five points. Creating the assist for his goal was midfielder Juraj Kucka (€5.5m), he banked seven points for his efforts.

Some of the most popular assets like midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (€9.5m) and striker Romelu Lukaku (€9m) both flopped.

Austria 0-1 France

Austria put up a valiant effort against favourites France but it wasn’t enough and they lost the game 1-0.

The goal was forced in by Austria defender Maximillian Wober (€4.5m) but directed by France striker Kylian Mbappe (€11m) who ended the match with four points and a broken nose.

The France clean sheet meant returns for defenders including Jules Kounde (€5m) who bagged nine points and William Saliba (€5.5m) who managed eight points.

The player of the match award went to France midfielder N’Golo Kante (€6m), helping him to nine points.

Türkiye v Georgia

Türkiye breezed past Georgia in their 3-1 victory.

The biggest return of the game came from Real Madrid star and midfielder Arder Guler (€6m). Guler amassed a huge 12 points after scoring and claiming the player of the match award.

Türkiye defender Mert Muldur (€4.5m) scored a goal outside of the box which resulted in a 10-point return. The final Türkiye goal came from forward Kerem Akturkoglu (€7m). The Galatasaray attacker banked six points after his goal came from outside of the box.

The only Türkiye assist came from defender Kaan Ayhan (€4.5m) who hit five points.

Georgia were impressive at times and their momentum forced a goal via striker Georges Mikautadze (€5m) who returned six points. Midfielder Giorgi Kochorashvili (€5.5m) created the assist for that goal which meant he finished the game with six points.

Portugal 2-1 Czechia

Portugal kept Czechia penned in for a lot of the match and were rewarded as 2-1 victors.

The highest scoring Portugal player was full-back Nuno Mendes (€5m) who produced seven points due to an assist and seven ball recoveries.

Player of the match was claimed by Portugal midfielder Vitinha (€6m). Vintinha managed just six points as he failed to to produce a goal contribution.

The Portugal goals came from substitute and midfielder Francisco Conceicao (€6.5m) and Czechia defender Robin Hranac (€4m) who scored an own goal.

The Czechia goal was converted by Lukas Provod (€6m) who managed nine points and created by defender Vladimir Coufal (€5m), he collected five points.
