EURO 2024 Round of 16 Fixtures - Fantasy Football Community

After a turbulent Group Stage we finally arrive at the latter stages of the competition. In this article we take a look at the EURO 2024 Round of 16 fixtures, including which teams face off against who and who they could play if they beat their upcoming opposition.

The Round of 16

Spain face Georgia in the next round of EURO 2024. Spain will be hoping to continue their excellent form and add a fourth consecutive win and clean sheet. The winners will go on to clash with the winner of Germany v Denmark. Whilst the latter are usually tough opposition in tournament football Germany are the hosts so go into the game as favourites.

Similar to Spain, Portugal progressed after just two wins on the bounce during the Group Stage. Slovenia are up next for them who drew all three of their Group matches. The winner of that game have a meeting with either France or Belgium, both of whom failed to impress in the Group Stage.

On the right side of the draw Romania have an interesting tie with Netherlands. Both sides picked up four points in the Group Stage but the Dutch go into the tie as favourites. The winner of this match come up against either Austria or Türkiye. Austria topped their Group after impressive wins against both Netherlands and Poland.

England will be hoping to put their dry form behind them with a win against Slovakia. Slovakia pulled off one of the biggest shocks in the tournament after beating Belgium in the Group Stage. The winner of that match faces the winner of Switzerland v Italy.
