EURO 2024 Fantasy Scotland Predicted Line-Up
EURO 2024 Fantasy is just on the horizon. Because of this, over at Fantasy Community we will be covering it. In this article you will find the Scotland predicted line-up with some rationale around why each player makes the starting XI.
Our Scotland predicted line-up could be extremely beneficial for fantasy managers. Scotland come into the competition as one of several under-dogs looking to surprise. So, with that in mind, knowing who will play and start for them could be crucial.
Scotland Predicted Line-up
Goalkeeper
Angus Gunn (€4.5m) should keep his place after helping his side secure four clean sheets in his six EURO Qualifying matches. Gunn also bagged 11 clean sheets in 40 Championship games for Norwich last season
Defenders
Scotland should continue with their back-three system, even with key injuries.
Completing the back-three is Ryan Porteus (€4.5m), Jack Hendry (€4.5m) and Kieran Tierney (€5m), the latter played Champions League football for Real Sociedad last season.
At left-wing back is Liverpool man Andy Robertson (€5.5m). Robertson managed three goals and two assists in the Premier League and two assists in the EURO Qualifiers.
The injuries to Nathan Patterson (€4.5m) and Aaron Hickey means that Anthony Ralston (€4.5m) is favourite to step in at right-wing back.
Midfielders
Callum McGregor (€6m) appears to be nailed in the starting XI after a successful season in central midfield for Celtic last season. McGregor’ inclusion means that either Billy Gilmour (€5m) or Ryan Christie (6m) will make the cut. In this case, we have opted for the latter after featuring in eight of their Qualifiers.
Making up the rest of the midfield is Manchester United’ Scott McTominay (€6.5m) who racked up seven goals and one assist in eight Qualifiers.
Ahead of the midfield is penalty and set piece taker John McGinn (€6.5m). The Aston Villa man was instrumental in securing Champions League football for his side last season. McGinn was also brilliant in the EURO Qualifiers, scoring three goals and producing two assists in eight games.
Forward
Completing the starting XI and spearheading the frontline will be Che Adams (€5.5m). Adams collected 20 goal contributions last season, helping his Southampton side bank promotion to the Premier League.
