Community Team Reveal Gameweek 35 – Ryan (Football Chatbox)

Each Gameweek brings an FPL community team reveal. As a result, that person gives insight into their transfers, captaincy and future plans.

Ahead of Gameweek 35, it’s the turn of Ryan (Football Chatbox) to tell us what he is doing to his team.

Hi Ryan and thanks for the team reveal. So how did Gameweek 34 go?

Gameweek 34 went really well. I was on a Free Hit and managed to score 138 points which saw me go from 285k to 159k – a green arrow of 44%. Julio Enciso, Riyad Mahrez and Bruno Fernandes were the differentials that turned up for me.

What does your defence look like?

Currently, in defence, I’m confirmed to play Tyrone Mings and Pervis Estupinan. The third spot needs a decision. I’m most likely going to sell Sven Botman for a Man United or Man City defender, preferring the latter if we can a team news leak before the deadline.

For the moment John Stones, Nathan Ake and Luke Shaw are all up for consideration. That would move Kieran Trippier to the bench as I expect Arsenal to score.

Meanwhile, what about your midfield and attack?

For now, it’s looking like a midfield four of Mohamed Salah, Marcus Rashford, Kaoru Mitoma and Cody Gakpo. I would honestly love to start Gabriel Martinelli, as I’m expecting goals from both sides at St James’ Park and, since his ownership has recently reduced, he’s back as a differential which is lovely. However, for the moment he looks to be benched.

So what are your transfer plans for Gameweek 35 and beyond?

The Botman sale is so I can move to a double Newcastle attack for Double Gameweek 36, getting Callum Wilson in for Ollie Watkins. After that, I haven’t yet decided what to do. It will probably depend on my rank and which players are still in form.

Finally, what about captaincy?

For the moment, the captaincy is on Erling Haaland as I believe that fixture is best. If we get news that he isn’t starting, I’ll most likely move the armband to Salah.
