Community Team Reveal Gameweek 22 – FPL ElStatto
Each Gameweek brings an FPL community team reveal. As a result, that person gives insight into their transfers, captaincy and future plans.
Ahead of Gameweek 22, it’s the turn of FPL ElStatto to tell us what is happening to his team.
Hi ElStatto and thanks for the team reveal. So how did Gameweek 21 go?
I’ve been floating between 500k and 600k for the past few weeks so hopefully I can start moving up the rankings once more.
What does your defence look like?
I thought I might have an issue here, with Trent Alexander-Arnold injured and Levi Colwill hurt during the warm-up for the FA Cup game. However, Trent coming off the bench should mean he’ll start against Chelsea, so I can save a transfer. Oleksandr Zinchenko is a rotation fear for me but seems to do well when he does play and a clean sheet normally means some bonuses for him too. Pedro Porro at home to Brentford provides opportunities for points at both ends.
Meanwhile, what about your midfield and attack?
It’s been nice not having to make midfield transfers. The return of Jarrod Bowen has given me a formation dilemma but I’ll opt for five in midfield and put Dominic Solanke on this week’s bench.
So what are your transfer plans for Gameweek 22 and beyond?
In attack, Ollie Watkins is on my radar as a possible sale but their fixtures simply look too good to not have him for. That’s potentially one for another week. With Erling Haaland due back soon, Julian Alvarez will be the one to make way – perhaps he can go out with a bang!
Finally, what about captaincy?
A very tricky decision here, with no standout option. I’ve gone for Phil Foden due to fixture strength but the risk of rotation exists now that Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku are back.
