Monday 23rd June

PSG’ final Group Stage game is likely to see them field a strong team after their 1-0 loss against Botafogo. This is great news for the likes of full-back Achraf Hakimi (€6.5m). Potential at both ends of the pitch makes the Moroccan the standout captain in their match against a poor Seattle Sounders.
The North American side have shipped a huge five goals already, so it could be wise to go for standout attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€9.2m) if not Hakimi. Doubt around Barcola and Dembele’ fitness makes him a reliable pick for minutes.
Tuesday 24th June

In the early matches, Porto need a win so motivation will be high against a ropey Al Ahly side. Leading their attack is penalty taker Samu Aghehowa (€4.2m) who could be a great captaincy option. Wing-back Francisco Moura (€4.1m) remains a good pick for his multiple routes to points.
Arguably the game of the week for captaincy is Boca Juniors clash against amateur club Auckland City. Spearheading the Boca Juniors frontline heading into the game is Miguel Merentiel (€6.2m) who scored against Bayern recently. The Brazilian side have multiple captaincy options this week, including defender Lautaro Blanco (€4.9m) who has attacking threat.
Wednesday 25th June

In the 2am matches Chelsea standout above every other side. The Blues must pick up a result this week and must do it against ES Tunis. Performing when needed is main man and penalty taker Cole Palmer (€9.6m) who appears to be the obvious choice.
Many may even look to teammate and midfielder Pedro Neto (€6.5m). Neto has scored in each of his first two matches, so may have an edge in terms of form over Palmer. Those who like to take risks could definitely consider him.

Thursday 26th June

Four teams play on Thursday but none of them are convincing options for captaincy. Thursday sees fixtures like Inter v River Plate and Manchester City v Juventus, which could be limiting when trying to secure a captaincy return.
For those who really want a captaincy option on Thursday then Erling Haaland (€11m) may just be the best option. After failing to start in Matchday 1 and coming up against a very good side this week, the Norwegian penalty taker appears likely to start. He was fantastic against last season, so backing against him could be damaging for rank and mini-league position.
Friday 27th June

There is two great fixtures playing at the same time on Friday which could be problematic. Al-Hilal and Real Madrid are favourites heading into their Matchday 3 clashes, so backing either of them could prove successful.
For Al-Hilal, midfielder Salem Al Dawsari (€5.6m) could be another excellent option. Al Dawsari was fantastic last season so against a woeful Pachuca defence, he could have huge success.
Those more convinced by Real Madrid could give the armband to defender Trent Alexander-Arnold (€6.4m) or penalty taker and striker Vinicius Junior (€11m).
