Club World Cup Fantasy Matchday 6 Top Picks

Not sure which players to pick this week? Then this is the place to be be! We talk through all of the Club World Cup Fantasy Matchday 6 Top Picks, highlighting the players with the most potential in each position.
New fantasy football games can be daunting when it comes to team selection, but knowing some of the best players in each position is a major step on the road to success, so let’s get into it.
Goalkeepers

Fluminense may have proven themselves offensively, but we have to remember they have failed to score against two good opposition already. Because of this, and considering Chelsea are favourites going into the game it makes sense to back Robert Sanchez (€5.3m) between the sticks.
PSG’ ability to keep clean sheets against tough teams in the latter stages of competitions makes them a reliable team in terms of investment, Helping them keep shutouts with his magnificent shot-stopping ability is Gianluigi Donnarumma (€5.7m).
Defenders

With Levi Colwill suspended and Reece James injured, the most reliable option at the back for Chelsea is Marc Cucurella (€5.8m). As well as offering gametime security, the Spaniard has also been extremely advanced and statistically promising from an attacking perspective.
With four clean sheets in their first five matches, the PSG defence has proven themselves on multiple occasions during the current campaign. This week is going to be difficult for them, but if anyone can pick up a return it’s Achraf Hakimi (€6.5m). The Moroccan has managed an attacking return in each of his previous three matches on the bounce.
The Real Madrid defenders have also displayed plenty of attacking threat during the competition so far. Both Fran Garcia (€4.9m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (€6.4m) are more than worthy of consideration. Garcia has produced a goal and an assist already, whilst Trent has bagged back-to-back assists in his previous two matches.

Midfielders

Fluminense may have kept things tight on several occasions this campaign, but they come up against a Chelsea side who have netted a huge 12 goals thus far. Arguably one of two standouts for the Blues is penalty taker Cole Palmer (€9.6m), who has managed two assists and a goal in his previous two matches.
Consistency is very important in these latter stages, and one player who offers that is fellow Blue Pedro Neto (€6.5m). As well as being considerably cheaper than Palmer, Neto has scored three in his first five Club World Cup matches.
PSG have an array of midfielder options to choose from. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€9.2m) has been their most convincing attacker during the current competition. However, the return of Ousmane Dembele (€10m) from injury makes him now the standout pick. Dembele was exceptional across all competitions last season and his goal against Bayern during his short feature in Matchday 5 was a glimpse of that form.
Real Madrid also have some of the best attackers in world football, so avoiding them offensively could be problematic. One player who appears to be thriving under new management is Arder Guler (€6.5m). Guler hit two assists versus Dortmund and appears to be a constant threat when playing for Los Blancos.
Forwards

Staying with Real Madrid, most of their threat comes from their frontline. Nobody is really sure which two of Vinicius Junior (€11m), Kylian Mbappe (€11m) and Gonzalo Garcia (€5.1m) will start. However, all three could be worthy of selection this week. Mbappe and Junior are more recognisable names, but Garcia leads the way in the Club World Cup for total goals thus far.
Chelsea have netted an impressive 12 goals already during the competition, so have more than convinced from an attacking perspective. With Liam Delap missing out due to suspension this week we could well see Nicolas Jackson (€7.4m) return to the starting line-up. Another player who could start for Chelsea is former Brighton man and new Chelsea signing Joao Pedro (€6.5m).
