Club World Cup Fantasy 2025: Al-Hilal Best Picks, Predicted Line-up and Team Overview

Club World Fantasy 2025 is here! Continuing with our team previews, we take a look at the Al-Hilal best picks, predicted line-up and team overview.
Knowing how a team could line-up and their best assets could be absolutely key for success in Club World Cup Fantasy.
Team Overview

Al Hilal qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup thanks to their triumph in the 2021 AFC Champions League. Although that victory came a few years before the tournament, it still counted because FIFA’s qualification criteria for this expanded edition of the Club World Cup includes winners from the last four editions of each continental competition. In Asia’s case, this means that champions from 2021 through to the 2023–24 season are eligible.
Because of their success in 2021, Al Hilal earned one of Asia’s allocated spots in the tournament, joining other top-performing clubs from the continent. The new Club World Cup format places a greater emphasis on consistent excellence over multiple years, which worked in Al Hilal’s favour.
Despite not winning more recent editions, their earlier title and strong continental reputation ensured they’ll be part of the historic 32-team tournament in 2025.
Al-Hilal had a strong campaign last time out. As well as advancing all of the way to the AFC Champions League Elite, they finished second in the Saudi Pro League. Recent form appears to also be very good – winning four, drawing one and losing one of their final 24/25 campaign matches.
Group and Fixtures
Al-Hilal meet with Real Madrid C. F. (ESP), CF Pachuca (MEX) and FC Salzburg (AUT) in Group H.

Their upcoming schedule is as follows:
- Matchday 1 – Real Madrid
- Matchday 2 – RB Salzburg
- Matchday 3 – Pachuca
Matchday 1 sees Al-Hilal clash with Real Madrid and they go into the game as huge underdogs.
They then come up against Salzburg in Matchday 2. This is a match that could go either way, so both sides have potential.
Matchday 3 could be their best hope to pick up all three points. Al-Hilal could edge Pachuca, but you can’t rule out a positive result for the Mexican side.
Predicted line-up

You can check out our Club World Cup Fantasy Ultimate Guide to help prepare you for the upcoming competition.
Note: If Cancelo isn’t ready then Muteb Al Harbi will likely start instead. If Leonardo isn’t fit then Milinković-Savić may move forward and Mohamed Kanno would take the midfield role. Al-Hilal, as well as being very active in the transfer market, also have a new manager, former Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
Top Picks
In defence Renan Lodi (€4.5m) could be a standout. Lodi is the most nailed on defender in Al Hilal’s backline in terms of minutes. If you’re picking him though, it’s mainly for attacking returns – he produced three goals and seven assists in his latest league campaign.
A differential in defence could be fellow full-back Moteb Al Harbi (€4.1m). As well as coming in cheap and below 5% owned, he also likes to advance forward into attacking positions. Al Harbi, as mentioned above, will only play if Cancelo is not ready to start.

Up front in attack, Salem Al Dawsari (€5.6m) shares corners and free kicks, giving him other routes to points. He’s basically the heart of Al Hilal’s attack – racking up a mammoth 15 goals and 15 assists in the latest Saudi Pro League campaign. He also heads into the Club World Cup off the back of 10 goals and six assists in his previous 10 matches.
Another great option, and one many may recognise for his stints in the Premier League, is penalty taker and forward Aleksandar Mitrovic (€7.5m). The former Fulham man hit a huge 19 goals and two assists in just 23 Saudi Pro League matches last season.
There we have it, our Al-Hilal Best Picks, Predicted Line-up and Team Overview. Will you be picking any of their players?
