Buy, sell and keep for FPL Gameweek 6

The sixth round of Fantasy Premier League is over so we look to the next and look at which players are a buy, sell and keep for FPL Gameweek 6. Whether that be through injury, team and player form or other factors we advise the potential fate of assets in your teams.

Looking at players who are a buy, sell and keep for FPL Gameweek 6 could be extremely beneficial to FPL managers. Knowing what to do with assets in your team can ultimately bring clarity with transfer use, captaincy and chip strategy.

Buy

  • Bryan Mbeumo (£6.9m) – The Brentford penalty taker comes up against strugglers Everton this week. Because of this he could have huge potential.
  • Yoane Wissa (£6.1m) – Everton are a team to target this week. With that in mind investing in the Brentford striker could be beneficial. He managed 20 points in his first two matches of the campaign.
  • Eberechi Eze (£6.3m) – Eze takes his sides, penalties, set pieces and faces the worst current side for big chances conceded so far this season (20). He has huge potential in the round ahead.
  • Odsonne Edouard (£5.6m) – Strikers seem to be in poor form in general in the league but not Edouard. He has managed two returns in his last two matches. He has also started all four of his sides last league matches.
  • Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) – Liverpool have got off to a great start to their campaign. However, its the form of Salah that has caught the attention of most. The poor form of other favourite midfielder options and the fact that the Egyptian has not failed to pick up a return in any of his matches so far suggest he has potential this week.
  • Julian Alvarez (£6.8m) – The Manchester City striker has started his campaign in style. He has bagged four returns in his first five matches. He also scored two goals in his midweek Champions League match. For those struggling in terms of forward options, Alvarez could be the man to go to.
  • Carlton Morris (£5.5m) – The Luton striker leads his offensive line and takes their penalties. He faces a Wolves side conceding some of the worst defensive data in the league. He also has a double Gameweek in 7 to keep one eye on.
  • Newcastle – They have Sheffield United next up who are maintaining some of the worst underlying offensive stats in the league. Newcastle banked a clean sheet in their last match. But, they also sit joint best for big chances conceded (four). Because of that we should consider defenders Sven Botman (£4.5m, Fabian Schar (£5m) and Kieran Trippier (£6.5m).

Sell

  • Gabriel Martinelli (£7.9m) – The Arsenal midfielder has been well below par this season and he also picked up a knock in his last match.
  • William Saliba (£5.3m) – He joins his teammate as a sell this week. Saliba and every other Arsenal defender face a Tottenham attack that have netted at least two goals in every match they have played so far. The clean sheet doesn’t look on so their potential is lacking.
  • Ollie Watkins (7.9m) – Chelsea may not be firing on all cylinders but they are still maintaining one of the best expected goals conceded in the league. Aston Villa striker Watkins has also failed to hit a return above five points this season which is also a concern.
  • Darwin Nunez (£7.4m) – Liverpool may be in top scoring form but several of their attackers are huge rotation risks and Nunez is one of them.
  • Rico Henry (£4.6m) – Brentford have a fantastic game ahead against Everton. However, their full-back Henry picked up a significant knee injury last match which could rule him out for some time.
  • Raheem Sterling (£7.2m) – Chelsea have a tough game against Aston Villa next up. The Blues are struggling for goals and Sterling looks like he may be holding a valuable midfielder slot.
  • Nicolas Jackson (£7m) – The Chelsea striker may be producing one of the highest big chance totals in the league but his finishing has been extremely poor. He could be an easy transfer out after just one goal all season.
  • Richarlison (£6.8m) – Tottenham are in great form but their Brazilian midfielder is struggling to cement starts which is a major concern moving forward.

Keep

  • Bukayo Saka (£8.7m) – Arsenal have proved they have one of the most efficient attacks in the league. Their standout option is penalty taker Saka who faces Tottenham next.
  • Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) – Brighton are in great scoring form and come up against one of the worst defences in the league next in Bournemouth. With that in mind and the fact he has managed three returns in his first five matches, Mitoma is a keep.
  • Pervis Estupinan (£5.3m) – After resting off his sides last match the Brighton full-back looks set for an explosive return in terms of FPL. Amongst defenders he is one of the best for both chances and big chances created so far.
  • Ben Chilwell (£5.8m) – The Chelsea full-back may not have started the last match but he has been playing in a left-wing role this season, giving him a much better chance of attacking returns. After a poor performance from his replacement, Chilwell looks set to come back into the fold.
  • Phil Foden (£7.6m) – The attacking injuries and summer departures means Foden could be a mainstay in the starting 11. He faces Nottingham Forest next up and although he blanked in his last match he has still collected three returns from his first five matches.
  • Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m) – Manchester United may look out of sorts but Fernandes is still maintaining some of the best non-penalty expected goal involvement in the league this season. He also takes his sides penalties and faces poor newly promoted side Burnley next up.
  • Marcus Rashford (£8.9m) – No midfielder has had more attempts in the box so far than Rashford. Since reverting back to his left-wing position he has also picked up two returns in three games. He has the perfect opportunity to get amongst the points with Burnley up next. The Reds assets are a tough one in terms of buy, sell and keep for FPL Gameweek 6. However, all signs suggest towards keeping them.
