Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 24 Top Picks

The season of German League football continues! So, we take a look at the Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 24 top picks. Bundesliga Fantasy expert and regular contributor @Big4FPL reveals three of the best defenders, midfielders and forwards for the new round.
The Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 24 top picks can be extremely useful for managers. With lots of changes to the game this season it could be difficult to adjust for managers. But the following top picks can help you bring clarity to some of the decisions you have to make ahead of the deadline.
Defenders
Diogo Leite – 9m

A boring first pick, but boring has been the key to success with defenders this year. Leite had a nightmare last match with an own goal and conceding a couple more, but a home fixture against Kiel should mean he is back to his dual winning self and surely has a floor of 170 points.
Nico Schlotterbeck – 14m

Nico was once one of the template picks in Bundesliga fantasy and at the start of the season looked nailed on to benefit from the new scoring rules. Although he is a bit pricey, he’s found his form in the last few weeks alongside Dortmund, seemingly looking better defensively, and a match against Pauli should mean another 200 pointer in the bank.
Tom Rothe – 7m

Opting for a second Union defender in my picks may seem like madness, but with Skov out, Rothe is back in at left back/left wing back. He already scored 454 points vs Kiel earlier this season and before being dropped had one of the highest averages for defenders in the game. Therefore if looking for a sub 8m budget defender, I think Rothe is the pick this week.
Midfielders
Romano Schmid – 10m

As I noted with defenders, boring is great in this game. Schmid will win enough duals and play enough passes to get to 170-190 most games but still has attacking threat in his locker. As such, if taking a gamble elsewhere, I like Schmid as a banker.
Alexis Claude-Maurice – 6m

Picking a player off the back of a hattrick appears kneejerk, but ACM has been fairly consistent all season. Himself, Nebel and Bischof have been the budget trio that have carried most of us this season and he has another good fixture here to deliver the points.
Ritsu Doan – 10m

Earlier in the season Doan was a popular pick, but the emergence of the previously mentioned budget trio has seen his ownership fall. Despite this, he continues to be consistent and I would back Doan with this fixture to continue that consistency.
Forwards
Serhou Guirassy – 19m

Another guy who went mental last week, so the pick seems obvious, but he was only 11% owned for his haul. The UCL top scorer, under a new manager bounce and looking back to his classy Stuttgart form that made him essential last season, I’m backing Guirassy to continue that fine form vs an out of sorts Pauli.
Mohamed El Amine Amoura – 10m

Last week was the week we really wanted Amoura to go big…and he didn’t deliver. But he is still the key man for Wolfsburg and was unlucky to have a goal disallowed, so I’m backing him to rediscover his form and perform strongly.
Benedict Hollerbach – 8m

Finishing up the trio of Union players in my picks vs Kiel, Hollerbach is an interesting one. More known for his work rate than his finishing, this pick may fall flat on its face but a fixture vs Kiel at least gives him higher odds of scoring, alongside his knack for picking up duals.
