Biggest FPL price drops from 21/22

Here we talk about the biggest FPL price drops from 21/22. Taking a look at previous season data in the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area to see which players could have the potential to embarrass their new price tags.

FPL managers are always on the look out for price drops between seasons. Prices rise and fall every season due to player form, lack of minutes and lots of other factors. Sometimes FPL managers can find great value in these situations.

Marcus Rashford

The Manchester United winger took the biggest price fall in the game after last season. With a huge £3m drop from £9.5m, Marcus Rashford came in at a budget price of £6.5m. Hitting 170 points+ in seasons 19/20 and 20/21. The United man was one of the best scoring midfielders in the game.

FPL managers have been monitoring Rashford during his pre-season with Manchester United due to his kind price point. Finding the net in both matches against Crystal Palace and Melbourne Victory managers will be hoping he regains his first team position and previous form so they can invest.

Bruno Fernandes

Another Manchester United player and its none other than Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese talisman managed to top the charts in season 20/21 by becoming the highest scoring player in FPL. With 18 goals and 12 assists Bruno managed a jaw dropping 244 points.

Bruno Fernandes took a price drop of £2m from £12m, going from one of the most expensive players in the game to £10m. After hitting 151 points last season managers will likely feel that £10m is still slightly expensive. However regaining his old form would certainly perk up interest in the FPL community.

Sancho and Ronaldo

The Manchester United United price overhaul continues with two more players. Record breaker and Striker Ronaldo came in at £10.5m whilst fairly new signing and midfielder Sancho came in with a price tag of £7.5m, both taking a £2m price drop.

With a new manager and system Manchester United and FPL managers around the world will be hoping both players hit form.

Leon Bailey

Coming in last season for Aston Villa new signing Leon Bailey was hindered by injury. The Aston Villa winger scored nine goals and created eight assists for German side Bayer Leverkusen in season 20/21. The potential is there for the Jamaican to do well this season.

Bailey took a price dive from £6.5m to £5m which has turned a lot of FPL managers heads. At £5m managers could argue he has been under priced considering most defensive midfielders have been priced similarly. With a goal in pre-season already and two starts under his belt managers could be looking to include the budget enabler from the get go.

Other price drops

Defenders Azpilicueta of Chelsea (£5m), Castagne of Leicester (£4.5m) and Zouma of West Ham (£4.5m) all took a £1m price drop.

Midfielders Sterling, now of Chelsea (£10m), Mahrez of Manchester City (£8m), Grealish of Manchester City (£7m) and Pedro Neto of Wolves (£5.5m) all took a £1m drop in price.

Forwards Kane of Tottneham (£11.5m), Vardy of Leicester (£9.5m), Werner of Chelsea (£8m), Firmino of Liverpool (£8m) and Ings of Aston Villa (£7m) all took a £1m drop.
