Spurs assets were popular picks with FPL managers this season. For a number of managers towards the end of the season tripling up on the North London team was a great strategy. However, deciding on which three was a challenge. Son Heung-Min was then most popular pick at Spurs. By Gameweek 38 he was owned by 35.6% of managers. Harry Kane was second owned by 23.4% with Dejan Kulusevski third at 10.9% owned.

Son was Spurs’ top points scorer this season as well as being the top scorer in the game. The midfielder returned 258 points. This was 66 points more than Harry Kane who was second for points scored at Spurs.

Son was Spurs’ top goal scorer this season with 23 goals. He was tied top for goals scored this season across the league and shared the Golden Boot with Liverpool’s Mo Salah. Only two Tottenham players scored more than ten goals this season.
Spurs had 13 different goal scorers over the course of the 21/22 season. Nine of the Tottenham goals this season were scored by defenders. Matt Doherty, Davinson Sanchez and Reguilon were their highest scoring defenders with two goals each.

Spurs look set to invest in their squad ahead of the 2022/23 season. Therefore managers should think carefully about who they invest in and the impact that will have on FPL. Son, Kane and Kulusevski look set to be important FPL assists next season too. Especially in a full season together and a first full season under Conte. When the fixture lists are announced on the 16th of June managers will likely be deciding how many Spurs players they can afford, especially if Kulusevski and Son take the price rises the FPL community are anticipating.
