Best three under the radar picks for Gameweek 25

We take a look through the best three under the radar picks for Gameweek 25. Using the help of the fixture ticker and underlying stats from Fantasy Football Scout we can find some of the best lesser picked players in FPL for the new round ahead.

Looking at the best three under the radar picks for Gameweek 25 in FPL could be really beneficial to managers. Picking lesser selected players in the game can help gain rank or an edge over mini-league rivals so it’s always important to consider them.

Jack Grealish

Whilst many focus on double Gameweeks, Manchester City could be flying under the radar as a team. No team in the league has scored more goals, had more attempts on goal, had more shots in the box or had more big chances total this season.

Manchester City face a Bournemouth who have lost seven of their last 10 matches in all competitions. There could be bags of potential for a Manchester City attacker in the round ahead. Jack Grealish (£6.8m) has just 2.9% ownership and has hit returns in his last three matches in a row in the Premier League. Starting the last six matches for Manchester City and in great form, Grealish is definitely flying under the radar.

Cody Gakpo

Liverpool have a very good double Gameweek this week. They face Wolves and Crystal Palace with the latter conceding some of the worst underlying defensive stats in the league amongst all teams in the last six matches.

Another player that will no doubt fly under the radar is Cody Gakpo (£7.8m). The Dutchman showed his talent for Ajax scoring nine goals and 12 assists in 14 games earlier in the season. Although he is yet to show that same quality, his two goals in his last three matches could suggest he is settling in nicely. With two chances at returns, Gakpo could have plenty of potential this week.

Ruben Neves

Wolves also have a double Gameweek in the round ahead. They face Fulham and Liverpool. Both of their opponent’s rank as two of the worst teams in the league for big chances conceded. This could give a Wolves attacker lots of opportunities to scrutinise their defensive fragilities.

Many managers will be looking to Wolves’ obvious options. Those same managers could be purposely avoiding Ruben Neves (£5.4m) due to his central midfielder position. However, Neves has picked up six returns this season consisting of two double-digit hauls.
