Best single Gameweek 29 players

With a huge double approaching we take a look at some of the best single Gameweek 29 players who could have big potential. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we pick out some of the best picks with just one fixture.

Taking a look at the best single Gameweek 29 players can be hugely beneficial to FPL managers. Many will be flocking to players with two fixtures. However, some could forget how much potential the players with just one fixture have.

Single Gameweek 29 fixtures

Harry Kane

Tottenham may be inconsistent but they still sit fourth in the Premier League. Managing 52 goals this campaign Tottenham rank as the third best team in the league for goals scored. They face a struggling Everton side in Gameweek 29. Amongst all teams in the league this season Everton rank the second worst for shots in the box conceded (296), second worst for total attempts conceded (424) and second worst for headed attempts conceded (84).

One player who could take advantage of the Everton backline is Harry Kane (£11.8m). The penalty taker and striker has bagged a huge 21 goals and two assists this season already. Amongst all players in the league this season Kane also ranks first for attempts on goal (100), second for shots in the box (84) and second for headed attempts on goal (31).

Bukayo Saka

Arsenal sit top of the Premier League whilst also ranking second for goals scored this season (66). That total is just one behind chasers Manchester City. Amongst all teams in the league this season they also rank first for attempts on goal (462), first for shots in the box (315) and third for shots on target (147).

Leeds lay ahead for Arsenal and Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) could have big potential. The penalty taker and midfielder has racked up an impressive 10 goals and 12 assists this season. That totals to 22 goal contributions in 28 matches. In the last six matches amongst all players in the league he also ranks second for goals (five), second for total attempts on goal (26) and first for shots in the box (18).

Gabriel Martinelli

Arsenal’s imperious form continues to pour out players with massive potential. The league leaders face a poor Leeds side in the round ahead. Not only do Leeds rank the second worst amongst all teams for big chances conceded this season (75) but they have also conceded two or more goals in more than 17 matches in all competitions this season.

Leeds are a team to target and Gabriel Martinelli (£6.6m) could be the player to take advantage of that. The Brazilian has become one of the best midfielders in FPL this campaign. Notching up 13 goals and one assist already, Martinelli also ranks joint fourth for attempts on goal (18), second for shots in the box (17) and joint third for big chances total (six) amongst all players in the last six Gameweeks.

Erling Haaland

Manchester City are looking hunt down Arsenal in their race to the top. They rank first amongst all teams in the league this season for goals scored (67). This season they also rank second for attempts on goal (444), first for big chances total (97) and first for shots on target (151). They face Liverpool in the next round. The Reds have shown huge defensive fragilities this season. This can be seen in the fact they rank amongst the four worst teams for big chances conceded this season.

The biggest contributor to Manchester City’s offensive line is Erling Haaland (£12m). The Norwegian has picked up a monstrous 28 goals and five assists this season which tallies to 32 goal contributions in 26 games. Amongst all players in the league this campaign Haaland also ranks second for attempts (90), first for shots in the box (84) and first for big chances total (84). Haaland has a huge game ahead but has the potential to go big against any team. If fit, it could be very difficult to leave him out of our teams.
