Taking a look at the best projected points for Gameweek 29 could be really beneficial for FPL managers. Knowing which players are going to get the most points is vital for things like transfer planning, captaincy and chip strategy.
The Top Five
We have a mix of teams in the top five this week. Leading the way with a predicted points of 4.94 is Tottenham’ Son Heung-Min. Son faces a Fulham side next up whom rank in the worst six teams this season for big chances and shots in the box conceded.
Not too far behind Son is Luton striker Carlton Morris with 4.70 points. Although defensively fragile the Hatters have scored in all of their last 10 matches. They come up against an inconsistent Nottingham Forest side next up.
It may come as a surprise that Ollie Watkins isn’t higher than third with 4.61 points. The Aston Villa forward and highest point scorer in the game currently clashes with the Hammers up next. Matching Watkins for points in Gameweek 29 is Brentford’ Ivan Toney. He will be hoping for his first return in five matches against Burnley this week.
Completing the top five is Jarrod Bowen with 4.13 points. Bowen scored three goals and registered one assist in the first two matches alongside the returned Lucas Paqueta. He has a good chance to extend that run with a game against a shaky Aston Villa backline.
Who Else Joins the Top 10?
The remainder of the top 10 also consists of a nice mix of clubs. Tottenham midfielder James Maddison looks to make it another return this week with 4.07 points.
Not far behind Maddison is Leon Bailey with 4.01 points. The Aston Villa midfielder has been in excellent form recently. Prior to his most recent game against Tottenham Bailey collected a return in five of his last six league matches.
One player many could be surprised to see in the top 10 is David Datro Fofana. The Burnley striker is joined by Luton wing-back Alfie Doughty and West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse who completes the list.
We have planned for Gameweek 29 and 30 in our article here.
