Ollie Watkins v Fulham
Aston Villa will be looking to get back to winning ways this week with a game against Fulham. One player they will look to to achieve that is their main man Ollie Watkins (£7.7m). The striker has been on a brilliant run of form returning in eight of his last 10 matches.
As we can see in the graphic below, prior to this season Watkins has a great record against promoted teams. In fact all three of his returns have come in his last three matches against promoted teams. His 17 points consist of one goal and two assists.
Mohamed Salah v West Ham
Liverpool go into Gameweek 33 with the intention of continuing their good run and make a late dash for top four. They come up against a West Ham side struggling near the lower end of the table. One player who will want to continue his spell of form is Mohamed Salah (£13m).
As we can see below Salah has a fantastic record against the Hammers. In the 10 head-to-heads he has played he has returned in eight of them. His points consist of nine goals and three assists. This tallies to 12 returns in the same period.
Trent Alexander-Arnold v West Ham
The Liverpool assets have had plenty of success against West Ham in the past. Another player who has a solid record against them is Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m). In the eight games he has played versus the Hammers Trent has bagged five returns.
What is even more impressive is that of Trent’s five returns against West Ham he has collected three double-digit hauls. His record consists of one goal, four assists and three clean sheets. With a good fixture ahead and a double Gameweek after that, some managers could be looking to invest in Trent for the next several rounds.
Kevin De Bruyne
Manchester City have a seismic match this week against Arsenal. The game could have a huge hand in how the league plays out as both of the title challengers come head-to-head. Kevin De Bruyne (£12.1m) could be key Manchester City’s success.
The graphic below shows the Belgian’s head-to-head record against Arsenal. We can see that in the 12 matches he has played against them De Bruyne has returned in half. His points come from five goals and four assists.
