Newcastle FPL Picks: Top Players to Target for the Upcoming Run

If you are hunting for the best Newcastle players FPL managers should target, then you are in the right place.
With a promising fixture run ahead, Newcastle assets are slowly creeping back onto our radar. Whether you are chasing differentials, or locking in value picks, we break down the data to reveal who is worth backing in the weeks to come.

Top 4 Newcastle Picks FPL Managers Should Consider
Alexander Isak (£9.3m)

Must not cry.
Isak beautifully swept home the second goal at Wembley, so soon after having one disallowed. It’s a reminder to his 6.4 million owners about why he’s essential for this run versus Brentford, Leicester and two teams in Double Gameweek 32.
One of the world’s best strikers, Isak has 18 goals and four assists from his latest 19 league appearances and ranks fourth throughout the league for overall big chances (26).
Anthony Gordon (£7.4m)

If you can cope with him on the bench for one match, Gordon will be back from suspension by Gameweek 31. Determined to make amends for missing out on Wembley, he’s the club leader for chances created (49) and second only to Isak for attempts (54), big chances (15) and shots on target (17).
Furthermore, last season he was FPL’s number two for assists (16) and the best for attacking returns at home (22). Four of Newcastle’s next six are at St James’ Park.
Admittedly, Gordon’s campaign has felt slightly under-par. But there was a spell between Gameweeks 13 and 21 where he returned in all eight starts.
Jacob Murphy (£5.0m)

Meanwhile, for a lot less money, you get the guy who set up Isak at Wembley. A winger who has started 15 league games in a row, grabbing five goals and six assists in that time.
He even beats Gordon for big chances created (10 v 6) and has a better minutes-per-goal rate (337.6 v 350.3). At the same price point as Morgan Rogers, Dango Ouattara, Enzo Fernandez and others, he has huge appeal for immediate Gameweeks.
Tino Livramento (£4.5m)

First of all, let’s mention Big Dan Burn (£4.4m), someone living the dream right now. His place in Newcastle’s XI is nailed but some managers may prefer full-back Livramento for £0.1m extra.
Moved over to the left in Lewis Hall’s (£4.8m) absence, he’s actually without a 2024/25 attacking return. Though Gameweek 28 brought their first clean sheet in a while, one was almost kept versus Liverpool too.
If the Magpies can repeat that winter run of five shut-outs in six, their backline will need covering. Only four teams have allowed fewer big chances (61).
