In goal we could look to Yann Sommer. Inter play on the first day and do so at home, which gives them an advantage over their opposition. Even if Sommer fails to keep a clean sheet he could rack up save points against Barcelona.
On the Wednesday, Gianluigi Donnarumma may be the standout option to pair with Sommer between the sticks. PSG’ number one pulled off goalkeeper heroics in the first leg, so he could well repeat that at home.
Inter may not be as defensively sound as they used to be, but they play with a back-three which allows wing-back Denzel Dumfries into attacking positions. There the Dutchman bagged two goals and an assist in the previous leg.
Another double up who could offer huge attacking threat is PSG’ Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes. Both players have impressed offensively this campaign and both rank among the highest scoring players in the entire game.
Completing the backline and another double up is that of William Saliba and Jakub Kiwior of Arsenal. The Gooners have been excellent defensively, so having some coverage could be a clever move.

Barcelona have been relentless this season offensively – averaging more goals in the Champions League than any other side. Because of this both Lamine Yamal and Raphinha have both become essential. Their ownership makes owning a third Barcelona attacker a shoo-in, so we could bring in Ferran Torres. The Spaniard netted in the first leg and continues to play out of position up front.
PSG play at home this week, so combined with their overall form, bringing in one of their attackers could be crucial. Ousmane Dembele is arguably the standout – with eight goals and three assists in just 13 matches. However if he is confirmed injured, then teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could be the best option.
Arsenal will go all out to turn the tide of the tie, and they will be heavily reliant on penalty taker Bukayo Saka to influence that. Saka has been his sides most successful attacker in both the Premier League and Champions League this season.
Up front, Inter duo Marcus Thuram and Mehdi Taremi make the cut. Thuram scored in the first leg and looked very dangerous consistently throughout the game. The injury to Lautaro Martinez means that Mehdi Taremi is likely to step in, something he has done successfully in the past.
Completing the frontline is Doue Desire. There is a major lack of striker options available this week, so stacking up on those who will start could be crucial. Doue has impressed so far this campaign, and he’ll be looking to get back on the score sheet after scoring against Aston Villa recently.
