The Belgium full-back ranks amongst the best 11 defenders in the league this season for non penalty expected goal involvement (3.37). He also leads all of his defensive teammates for this as well.
Interestingly since opposite wing-back Ricardo Pereira (£4.3m) returned to full fitness, he edges Castagne for non-penalty expected goal involvement (0.61). With that in mind, he could also be a good option moving forward.
