Best Gameweek 29 fixtures

Playing the fixtures is a key thought process for FPL managers. Thinking about which teams have the best fixtures and how to target them can be key to success. To help FPL managers with their decisions we take a look at the teams with the best fixtures in Gameweek 29.

Fantasy Football Scout members have the opportunity to sort the Fixture Ticker by difficulty. This means that they are able to see how difficult the matches are over a range they have specified. Members are also able to sort the Fixture Ticker by defence and attack. You can sign up as a Fantasy Football Scout member here.

Double Gameweek 29 is the biggest double gameweek of the season. There will be 12 teams playing twice. We have sorted the Fixture Ticker by difficulty and the four teams that sit top are Leicester, Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Bournemouth. All of these teams play twice in Gameweek 29.

Leicester

Leicester are top of the FFScout Fixture Ticker for Gameweek 29. They have two fixtures, a trip away to Crystal Palace, before hosting Aston Villa.

James Maddison (£8.2m) is Leicesters most popular outfield player in FPL. The midfielder started his first game for England against Ukraine on Sunday and registered an assist in his last Premier League match.

Managers who own Danny Ward (£4.0m) and want to Bench Boost will likely need to transfer out the goalkeeper this week. Ward lost his starting spot to Daniel Iverson (£3.8m) in Gameweeek 28.

Nottingham Forest

Second on the Fixture Ticker for Gameweek 29 are Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest have a home fixture against Wolves first, ahead of a trip away to Leeds.

Nottingham Forest beat Leeds in the reverse of this fixture earlier on in the season. Brennan Johnson (£5.7m) is currently the highest scoring Nottingham Forest player in FPL with 95 points so far this season. However, the forward is flagged with a groin injury so managers will want to listen carefully to the press conferences before investing.

Brighton

Brighton sit third on the Fixture Ticker for Gameweek 29. They have a home fixture against Brentford before traveling away to Bournemouth.

Brighton won the reverse of the Bournemouth fixture back in Gameweek 22. Kaoru Mitoma (£5.5m) scored the winner in the 1-0 victory. The Seagull’s have won two and drawn one of their last three Premier League matches. They are in good form heading in to the double and assets such as Mitoma, Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m) and Solly March (£5.1m) are all potential captaincy options.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth are fourth on the Fixture Ticker for Gameweek 29. They have two home fixtures in Gameweek 29 against Fulham and Brighton.

Philip Billing (£5.2m) is Bournemouth’s highest scoring FPL asset so far this season. The midfielder has returned 94 points so far this season. In the last three matches he has retried 21 points, including two 10-point hauls against Arsenal and Liverpool.
