Best Fantasy EFL Players for Gameweek 38

Not sure who to pick this week? Lots of managers share the same concerns week in week out. Don’t worry though! This week we have brought in @FPLEdgeworth to share his best Fantasy EFL players for Gameweek 38
Goalkeepers
Sam Tickle – Wigan Athletic

Wigan may have nothing left to play for, but they’re finishing strong. They’ve kept four clean sheets in their last five games, bringing their season total to 18. This week, they face Blackpool and Burton, and with recent shutouts against Wrexham and Leyton Orient, there’s every chance they continue that form.
Max Crocombe – Burton Albion

Crocombe’s Burton side are still in a fight – currently safe only on goal difference. If they win their game in hand, they’ll move three points clear of relegation with two to play. With fixtures against Cambridge and Wigan, and plenty to play for, Crocombe is a strong pick with motivation on his side.
Defenders
Christoph Klarer – Birmingham City

Klarer plays for the only team with a triple gameweek, and with promotion already secured, rotation is expected – but Klarer is a low rotation risk. He’s returned 20 points in his last three matches, with only one clean sheet, making him a reliable pick even without defensive returns.
Alex Cochrane – Birmingham City

Cochrane is another safe option in Birmingham’s backline. He’s started every game since Gameweek 21, so should avoid rotation. With a triple gameweek, he’s primed to be one of the highest-scoring defenders this week.

Midfielders
Kwame Poku – Peterborough United

Poku has been inconsistent lately, but his numbers are impressive: 20 goal contributions in 26 appearances. With Peterborough out of the promotion race, Poku may still be motivated by transfer rumours – he’ll want to impress in the final games to secure a move to a higher division.
Albie Morgan – Blackpool

Morgan’s recent form has dipped slightly, but he remains consistent, scoring 5+ points in 10 of his last 12 games. With a double gameweek ahead, he’s got a great chance at double-digit points, making him a solid pick despite the form concerns.
Forwards
Malik Mothersille – Peterborough

The next player is Peterborough’s Mothersille, who will be looking to finish the season with some consistent form, as although he has 20 goal contributions, his form has been very patchy , and so playing against two teams that, put together, in both of their last three matches, combined for 21 goals conceded, he’ll get no better opportunity to kick-start a good end of the season this game week.
Rob Apter – Blackpool

Apter is arguably the most in-form player right now. He scored a hat-trick two games ago, and followed it up with another goal in the last match. Even with tough fixtures this week, he’s already shown he can score against strong defences like Stevenage and Wrexham.
Teams to Target
Birmingham City
Birmingham are the standout team this gameweek. They’re the only side with a triple gameweek, they’ve already secured promotion, and they face favourable opponents: Stevenage, Mansfield, and Blackpool. If you’re looking for big points, this is the team to stack.
Wigan Athletic
Wigan don’t have the best fixtures, but they’re the pick of the double gameweek sides. They’re unbeaten in their last five matches, and while not spectacular, they’re solid. If that form continues, their players should return well for your team.
