Best Fantasy EFL Players for Gameweek 35

Not sure who to pick this week? Lots of managers share the same concerns week in week out. Don’t worry though! This week we have brought in @FPLReaction, who ranks in the top 100, to share his best Fantasy EFL players for Gameweek 35.
Goalkeepers
James Trafford

You have to be backing the Burnley defence, there is no way around it. They have managed a massive 28 clean sheets this campaign, and come up against Coventry and Derby. One route into the formidable backline is James Trafford.
Michael Cooper

League leaders Sheffield United may not have kept as many clean sheets as Burnley, but they have still collected a huge 20 during the season. The Blades arguably have much easier fixtures than their title rivals – facing off against and out of form Oxford and Millwall. With that in mind, Michael Cooper should also be in your thinking between the sticks.
Defenders
Maxime Esteve

If you’re not backing James Trafford in goal, then you simply have to go for a centre-back. Racking up more points than any other defender in the Championship this season is Maxime Estève, who is a huge 30 points clear of second place.
Max Clark

I could have ended my defender picks with Leeds’ Jayden Bogle, or Sheffield United’ Anel Ahmedhodzic, but I won’t. Instead, Gillingham’ Max Clark has really caught my eye. Gillingham may have kept just two clean sheets in their previous five, which is fine, but Clark has also scored three goals in his last four games. The interesting part about that is the fact two of them were penalties. He has also banked at least nine points in each of his previous five.
UCL Fantasy Matchday 13 is just around the corner and we have lots of great content coming to help you prepare.
Midfielders
Josh Brownhill

There seems to be a very weird stigma around Josh Brownhill that he’s not that appealing, or he’s not that attacking etc. The bottom line is, he’s the fourth highest scoring midfielder in the game for a reason. As well as scoring three goals in his last five matches, his side have also been in good scoring form – racking up 10 goals during the same period.
Aaron Morley

Aaron Morley should return to the Bolton line-up this week after missing the last game through suspension. Bolton have two fantastic home fixtures against Bristol Rovers and Rotherham this week, two poor defences. Having bagged two goals and two assists in his last four games, Morley is clearly their standout attacker heading into the double.
I imagine managers will also fancy going for Peterborough’ Kwame Poku after his Gameweek 34 hauls too, even if he faces the recently leaky Birmingham.
Forwards
Jay Stansfield

Peterborough and Barnsley may not be pushovers from an offensive perspective but both sides have been poor from a defensive perspective. Because of this, backing table toppers Birmingham this week could be wise. Because of this, once again, Jay Stansfield is one of the best striker options heading into the new round, as frustrating as he can be.
Charlie Kelman

Leyton Orient may not be the most in-form side, but they face two lower league sides in Wigan and Mansfield next, both of whom have been hit and miss defensively. Spearheading the attack as usual is Charlie Kelman, who has accumulated four goals in his last four matches, reflecting fantastic form.
Teams to Target
Arguably the standout team selection this week is Championship leaders Sheffield United. The Blades are in fine form offensively, have two great fixtures, and have lots of clean sheet potential ahead.
Bolton are another side who stand out this week. Currently in the play-offs, Bolton will want to secure their position, and have the opportunities to do so against 20th and 14th placed teams.
With five wins in their last six matches, it would be foolish to not give Chesterfield credit. This week they clash with 19th place Gillingham and 22nd place Tranmere, so they could well win both well.
League One leaders Birmingham are also likely to win both of their matches this week in my opinion. They are a class above every other team in the league so have potential week in week out.
