Best €4m Goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy 2025/26

In this guide to the Best €4m Goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy 2025/26, we’ll highlight the standout cheap options who can free up funds for your heavy hitters in midfield and attack, while still offering clean sheet potential and steady points returns.

Finding value in UCL Fantasy is always key to building a strong squad, and one of the best places to save budget is between the sticks, so let’s get into it.

Alex Meret

Best €4m Goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy 2025/26

Napoli edged fellow title rivals Inter to the Serie A title last season – a title which was won on the final day by a single point. Whilst they held plenty of offensive threat during that successful season, they were also fantastic defensively – racking up a huge 19 clean sheets.

Whilst the above is promising from an investment perspective, and his price-point is arguably well below what it should be, it’s Alex Meret‘ schedule that stands out. Napoli may come up against English giants in Matchday 1, but they then go onto face Sporting, PSV, Frankfurt, Qarabag, Benfica and Copenhagen. This should give Napoli and Meret huge potential.

The only concern with Meret is Napoli’ recent purchase of former Torino man Vanja Milinković-Savić. The fact Meret has started all of Napoli’ early league fixtures does bode well for his minutes moving forward.

Vítězslav Jaroš

After a tough couple of years of inconsistencies and disappointment, Ajax make a return to the Champions League. The Dutch giants will be hoping to come back with a bang, and they have the schedule to do exactly that.

Whilst meetings with Inter and Chelsea in their first three fixtures are far from ideal, things do get better. In fact, Ajax also play Marseille, Galatasaray, Benfica, Qarabag, Villarreal and Olympiakos, teams they could genuinely have success against.

With the above in mind, investing in the Ajax defence appears far less daunting. Because of this, Vítězslav Jaroš becomes a serious consideration at €4m. The Czechian has started every single one of Ajax’ games thus far – helping them to two clean sheets in just four outings. At his price and with his fixtures, Jaroš could be an easy addition for UCL Fantasy managers.

Luiz Júnior

Best €4m Goalkeepers in UCL Fantasy 2025/26

Villarreal are another side who have spent some time away from the Champions League. In fact, their latest campaign was back in the 2021/22 season in which they progressed to the last 16. Regular features in the Europa League since then has provided them with tough opposition outside of La Liga though.

A starting schedule against Tottenham, Juventus and Manchester City isn’t exactly appealing. However, after that spell they meet with the likes of Pafos, Copenhagen, Ajax and Leverkusen, which could offer up opportunities to keep a clean sheet.

Helping Villarreal keep two clean sheets in their first three La Liga matches was Luiz Júnior. The Brazilian was rotated in spells during the previous season, but with three starts in three, things could be looking up in terms of his gametime.

Who else should we consider?

  • Günay Güvenç – Galatasaray have started the season well – winning all four their League games. They also kept three clean sheets during that period, with the help of their veteran goalkeeper. Four of their first six Champions League matches sees them pitted against Frankfurt, Ajax, USG and Monaco, so they could well have clean sheet potential.
  • Temirlan Anarbekov – Champions League newcomers Kairut come into the tournament as considerable under-dogs. This can sometimes work in a teams favour, so the covering Anarbekov may be a solid pick.
  • Dominik Kotarski – Copehangen’ number one could be another option. The Danish side have a rough fixture schedule but you can never rule out clean sheets from a side who kept five in their last six Champions League qualifiers.
