Best Differentials for UCL Fantasy Matchday 15

Last modified date

Looking to boost your rank ahead of the new round? If so you are in the right place. Here we pick out the Best Differentials for UCL Fantasy Matchday 15.

Differentials are key to gaining rank. Lowly owned and flying under the radar, picking up hauls from one of these assets could see you leap above your rivals in one bold move.

Declan Rice – 7% Ownership

Arsenal have home advantage on their side this week, which is huge in this competition. That said, Arsenal recently put in a convincing 2-1 away win against Real Madrid in the previous round. Both suggest that the Gooners could have attacking potential against PSG.

Midfielder Declan Rice (€6.2m) is one of many routes into the Arsenal attack this week. Although his central midfield position may put many off, his output is there for everyone to see – having produced a goal or an assist in every one one of his previous five Champions League starts.

Vitinha – 9% Ownership

Picture this, you have stocked up on all of the ‘main’ PSG attackers and you’re raring to go, because if there’s a goal, you’re probably going to have an asset return. But, then Vitinha (€7.3m) scores, a central midfielder, and you find out that those few that own him rocket in rank.

The above has happened on several occasions this campaign. In Matchday 9 and 10 Vitinha bagged back-to-back 13-point hauls due to his two goals and two player of the match awards. You can’t rule that out happening again. So, Vitinha’ central midfield position may not be the most exciting, but it’s one he can perform very well from. Even without a goal or assist, Vitinha still managed six points due to ball recoveries recently.

Ferran Torres – 1% Ownership

Barcelona have been the best attack in Europe for goals scored this season. The Catalans have averaged between 2-3 goals in both La Liga and the Champions League, so they have the ability to break down a very stubborn Inter defence.

Playing at home will also give them a huge boost, even without star striker Robert Lewandowski due to injury. Replacing the Pole is very likely to be in-game midfielder Ferran Torres (€6.8m), who will be playing out of position if given the nod. Torres is more than capable in an advanced role – with six goals and assists during his last club games.

Hakan Calhanoglu – 3% Ownership

Inter won’t just lie down and take pressure from Barcelona, the Italians have more than proven their worth in their previous several Champions League campaigns. Beating Bayern was no easy feat, so even Barcelona should be anxious.

Due to the striker situation this week, many will own the Inter forwards, but not many look at midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu (€7m). The Turkish maestro has been pivotal to Inter’ success recently, but he is also their penalty taker. Calhanoglu has produced close to 10 attacking returns in Serie A, but also three goals and one assist in Europe. So, picking him in the right moment could rocket you up the ranks.
