Best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 7

Last modified date

The new season of German football continues which means the Fantasy game does too. Because of this we take a look at the best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 7 with the help of our expert manager and contributor @FPLPlatinum.

Looking at the best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 7 can be extremely beneficial for managers. Differentials are lowly owned players that if successful can help you gain rank and an edge over you mini-league rivals.

GK – Kevin Müller – 5.2m on sale from 5.8m, 9% owned, Frankfurt (A)

The newly promoted goalkeeper comes in on sale in MD7. This makes him a relatively low-risk buy in terms of your overall budget. Müller has the second highest SofaScore rating of any goalkeeper in the Bundesliga this season at an average rating of 7.58 per game.

The 32 year old is averaging 5.3 saves per match. This means he always has points potential, and is likely to haul when Heidenheim keep a clean sheet. Müller picked up an 18-point haul in Heidenheim’s 1-0 victory over Union Berlin, where he made eight saves.

DEF – Julian Ryerson – 9.4m, 3% owned, Union Berlin (H)

Last season’s budget favourite finds himself at a more costly 9.4m this season. Despite that, Ryerson is still proving to be a worthwhile asset. He is averaging 10 points a game and also faces a Union Berlin side with one goal and four defeats in their last four games.

Dortmund will be looking to capitalise on this poor form, and Ryerson will be one of many avenues to come up with a goal, as he did in MD6 vs Hoffenheim. Dortmund have kept two clean sheets in their three home games this season. With that in mind they be looking to make that three clean sheets at the weekend.

MID – Marco Reus – 13.5m, 4% owned, Union Berlin (H)

Last week’s midfield pick finds himself in the running as another excellent differential this week. His ownership has doubled since last week’s article. His new owners were also rewarded with a goal in Dortmund’s 3-1 away victory over Hoffenheim.

Reus is has just 4% ownership, and Terzic will look to use him more in the league as the demanding European schedule clashes with the league and cup games. The Dortmund captain has proven he is still capable of coning up clutch, and is still an excellent differential midfield option for MD7.

FWD – Jonas Wind – 11.7m, 7% owned, Stuttgart(A)

There is absolutely no shortage of excellent forward options this season. With Guirassy, Kane, and Boniface making up the majority of teams, there are still picks such as Sané, Kramarić, and Wind who are scoring goals for their respective teams, too. Jonas Wind in particular stands out.

Despite being the 4th highest scoring forward in the entire game, Wind has just 7% ownership. He is averaging 13 points per match and currently has seven goals and one assist in the league in only six games. This impressive form cannot be overlooked, and if managers want a punt before the unlimited transfers period, Wind could be the man to make the difference.
